A few people, mostly those flying in early, have been talking about what to do before Friday's Shimmer show instead of just sitting in the hotel room. It turns out the Chicago Cubs are playing the Atlanta Braves at 1:20 Friday afternoon. We just picked up tickets for 30 bucks. Baseball than Wrestling.....sounds like a good day to me. Cubs fan for a day.....Mets fan for Life!!!

What's Wrigley Field like? Are the seats really jammed together like at Camden Yards?

Kind of. It's an old park with a lot of charm to it. It can be a mad rush of humanity on the concourses or riding the Red Line to Addison with hundreds of other fans. All in all, not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Being a Cubs fan and having been to both Wrigley and Camden Yards I have to say experiencing at least one live game at Wrigley should be on everyone's life to-do list. I haven't been to Camden Yards since about the first year it opened but I found that to be a great stadium. Now I have to pop in Field of Dreams..... -AD ps...buy more merch!

I went to Camden Yards once to see a Braves game, and it sucked...the seats were really squashed together, there was no legroom, and everything was way too expensive. It was like three dollars for a soda. Who are they kidding? Just bring a backpack and stuff some drinks in there.
At least the game was good. The Orioles pitcher threw a shutout that night.
And....merchandise? lol. Is there an Allison Danger T-shirt by any chance? ;D

I find all stadiums I have been to real expensive which is why I enjoy going to the minor league teams. Food and drinks are cheap and you can see some really good games. I don't remember Camden Yards being crowded but then again it has been years since I was there last.
-AD
New Allison Danger merch will be available at the next SHIMMER taping. I will check with Prazak about new SHIMMER merch too. ;D

I was located a little ways away from the right field foul pole, and those seats sucked. What's ironic is that the Pirates stadium is much better, but no one ever goes there because the Pirates are always losing. I do get to see the Harrisburg Senators play, and that's all right. Can't say much about the bathrooms there, but the tickets are really cheap and sometimes I get to see a major league pitcher come to town on a rehab assignment. I saw Mike Mussina earlier this year. And......I might have to pick up at least one T-shirt while I'm at the show. I've saved up more money than I expected, and it seems like things will work out in that direction.
