Im not convinced by iPPV's yet. I hope volume 53 has the same high production values as the rest of the volumes and would rather it come out on DVD months later than it air live on what has proved not to be a totally reliable medium just yet. Who knows, maybe WWE can lend WrestleCon their crew.

I heard they're pretty much free that weekend.

I heard they're pretty much free that weekend. WrestleCon actually happens ahead of WrestleMania, but I imagine their going rate is a little high for some indy feds, and they'll be setting up for the big show. So sub-standard production it is for SHIMMER if you don't want to wait 5 months for the DVD, though there is Kickstarter.

SHIMMER got the noon gig? That's kinda lame IMO. I think it should be Dragon Gate first, SHIMMER second, and CHIKARA last. That'd be a better format. It would make it flow better.

It's best for us in that we can get talent on flights home that same night (saves us on hotel expenses) and it's not head to head with anything else in town during that time frame. People can go to SHIMMER, have early dinner, and still go to Hall of Fame that night if they don't want to see CHIKARA or DGUSA, etc.

I plan on doing SHIMMER and CHIKARA. Don't really care about the other stuff.

I'm seriously considering flying over from Norway to catch this. I've wanted to see Shimmer live for a while now, but it's a lot cheaper for me to fly to New York, and now I get to see my other favorite promotion as well (Chikara). I like DGUSA and Evolve too, so I'm practically salivating here.

I like the fact it's at Noon. That means, if it's picked up for iPPV, it'll be on in the UK at 5pm.

I mean it makes SHIMMER standout between two premiere wrestling companies that feature mostly male wrestlers. I think the structure would be more interesting throughout the day, as opposed to putting SHIMMER first. Maybe I'm on my own on that, but that's how I would set it up. Although DP makes a good point on it being more cost effective.

I hadn't seen it mentioned here yet, but the prices are $50 for 1st row, $40 for 2nd row, and $25 for GA.

Thats not too bad for SHIMMER considering its normally $70 for two shows for Front row.

Same ticket prices for SHIMMER, EVOLVE, CHIKARA, and CZW shows there that weekend. There's also the option of discount ticket packages to have ringside seats for all of the shows. They all go on sale September 5th through the www.WrestleCon.com web site.
