It's best for us in that we can get talent on flights home that same night (saves us on hotel expenses) and it's not head to head with anything else in town during that time frame. People can go to SHIMMER, have early dinner, and still go to Hall of Fame that night if they don't want to see CHIKARA or DGUSA, etc. Not sure about DGUSA, since I've not had the opportunity to see one of their shows, but, speaking from personal experience, who wouldn't want to see CHIKARA and SHIMMER on the same day if the opportunity presented itself and finances permitted?

DragonGateUSA "Open the Golden Gate" was the most awesome live wrestling show I've been to in my life! ( & I've been a wrestling fan since the late '70's) and I'm sure all the DGUSA/EVOLVE shows along w/ SHIMMER will be most excellent. Kaiju is hilarious and CZW actually has some good stuff. $5 wrestling is also a good time. All in all if you're going to be in the area & can swing it the package is pretty much the wrestling deal of a lifetime.

Noon Eastern time on Wednesday, everybody. I have no idea how quickly front row is going to sell out, but from what I'm told they're expecting a good portion of the front row to sell to the Golden Circle/VIP packages (front row tickets to all of the shows in one package), so those buying for SHIMMER individually, act quickly. www.wrestlecon.com/

I'm told there's only about ten front row seats left at this point. Don't delay if you plan on going and would like front row.

Yep, over a hundred tickets sold in the NY market within the first 5 hours they were on sale, with nothing advertised and no local promotion. Brand awareness prevails!

I wonder if some of my friends who aren't women's wrestling fans bought tickets? Hopefully they'll become SHIMMER fans...

Will there be a meet and greet with the Shimmer talent before or after the live event, and does access to the meet and greet require a first- or second-row ticket? Also is there a chance that some of the talent will be signing and meeting fans outside of the Shimmer tapings (different days that weekend, for instance)? Thank you!

To be determined. I do know none of the WrestleCon shows will have intermissions, due to all of the shows that need to fit within a small time window during the course of each day.

Just an update on tickets so far for WrestleCon. In the first week, we've already sold out the first row completely, and half of the seats in the second row. If you're planning on attending SHIMMER 53 and would like a ringside seat close to the action, pick up your tickets soon. Once second row is gone, we'll begin selling third row seating, and so on. The general admission seating area will be behind however many rows of ringside seats we end up moving between now and April. We expect this to be the largest attendance for a SHIMMER event, given that we've already sold over 150 tickets with nothing announced and 7 months to go, plus it's WrestleMania weekend with so many wrestling fans in town. Be a part of history!

Be a part of history! This might be painfully obvious, and I'm probably going to feel stupid when I read the answer. But, I just want to be sure that the tickets on sale are strictly for the Wrestlecon thing and this does not pertain at all to tickets for the also previously mentioned Shimmer 54-57 that will take place the following weekend. Am I correct on that?
