How come these girls havent entered Shimmer? Both are real talented and charismatic and Shelly has improved ALOT.

I think the major problem with Melina is the attitude problems she has been said to have, I don't know personally but I am guessing that is why we have never seen her ... that and her high asking price
As for Shelly ... no real problem one way or another, though I really can't see her adding much

The answer to 95% of the names people will ask "why is this person not in SHIMMER" is simple. We're happy with our current roster and don't necessarily want to replace our current group with other wrestlers, even ones who might fit in well on our shows. Also, for many of them, "maybe one day." As it is, we're rotating the roster to fit everyone in.

I personally don't think either woman would add anything to Shimmer. Melina was paid a lot to wrestle in WSU and it was 7 minutes of uninspired drivel. Shelley might make a good manager but like DP said there's only so many spots that can be filled.

I don't think Melina's attitude would be a problem for a weekend of shows. I think her booking fee would be a much bigger problem and she really doesn't need the exposure. The only active big two fed female I would love to see in SHIM is Tara for the record.

YES TARA would be great in SHIMMER as well as GAIL KIM.

Melina....eh. I don't think she'd really add anything to the mix other than a few people being able to go "Ooooh...Melina's on the show" and that's about it. That money could be better spent elsewhere.
Shelly will always have a soft spot in my heart, but....I don't really see the fit either. Unless her and Melissa have a war over the latter getting more on-screen time in the Owata video ;D
In general, I'd much rather see the time and money spent on trying to find the next new breakout star rather than relying on someone that had a WWE/TNA deal for (probably) a one off.

As for that match, Melina turned up to get paid. Simple as. I agree with Jennifer.

Jen's right - Melina showed up out of shape and half-arsed, pretty much ruined that show for me.

Seeing it live, I thought her match was about as good as could be expected, considering how long she been out and that when she was "in" she spent years in an environment that bears little resemblance to a proper wrestling company.
As far as attitude/personality, she was easily one of the nicest people I've met in recent memory. Very friendly, and very humble. She said she was pretty nervous about the match going in and about what everyone's expectations would be (considering Bret Hart calling her the best in the world, which she absolutely disagreed with).

I'm good with neither of them ever popping up on the roster, personally.

Shelly Martinez is a friend of mine. That being said she really does love wrestling and is also great at being a character. If there was a place for her then I would be all about having her in Shimmer. But if the creative powers can't find a role to place her in then I understand. I'm just happy that 100 wrestlers & hopefully more in the future have gotten the chance to try and show the fans what they bring to the business.

Considering others have agreed with me, and I've seen Lexxus in better matches, pretty sure you are in the minority here. And I don't recall caring if you are "over" me stating my opinion given I'm also pretty sure I only posted it once elsewhere about this topic. So yeah. I want to see women I've never heard about that can use the exposure at Shimmer, not women who have been on tv and may or may not have huge asking prices.
