I know that there's a Joshi4Hope (30/11/10) special DVD available from highspots (featuring the debut of Madison Eagles in Japan), but does anyone know if there are any other volumes out (or coming out soon) for purchase?
I really wanted to order the Christmas Special (even though there's no singing), but don't know if it's even out or where to find it.
If anybody has any better info, please fill us in, please.
PS: Are most Japanese wrestling DVD's region coded these days?

I don't think the Christmas DVD is out but I'd be optimistic about it being available at SHIMMER.
Most wrestling DVDs aren't region locked.

The Joshi4Hope Xmas special isn't out but I heard they are working on it, they had another show in February, so I would expect to see both shows appear on DVD. Not sure when it will be though...

I believe the plan is to put the footage from both events on the same DVD.

shupercousin, were you in Berwyn for the last tapings or were you in Japan? (wherever Hiroyo was wrestling) Either way your artwork appears to have a permanent home in the Joshi fan section.

I missed the March SHIMMER tapings I was stuck working in California >_< There is a Japanese fan who does what you describe, and follow her almost everywhere she wrestles, so he was here the last 2 times Hiroyo was in USA. I've only been to Japan once. The JoshiFans contingent is proud of our banner and streamer traditions ;-D

Wait, so there's somebody out there who is even more of a Hiroyo fan than you? We may have to settle this via a Yappapi Indian Strap Match!

The JoshiFans contingent is proud of our banner and streamer traditions ;-D And fine work they are too, but I've gotta say, the streamer tradition *died* at the last tapings. Only a couple of dedicated fans were throwing them at all, and between lack of streamers and sometimes poor aim, it looked really poor in comparison to previous shows (like maybe one streamer making it in the ring). Bryce picking up one single bit of streamer and throwing it out isn't exactly as impressive as whenever it took several people to clear the ring. I like the streamers, but more people need to get on board in that section to bring it back to how it used to look.

Wait, so anybody can bring streamers and throw them? If there's some kind of shortage of streamer throwers, I'd be happy to offer some support from our corner and keep Joey from making snide comments.
I guess I'll need to get a colors list, since we're not talking AngelSoft...

October 2011 tapings the joshifans coordinated the most effective streamer campaign to date, where we ordered the real puroresu streamers from Japan and clocked in tons of streamer rolling hours prepping them beforehand. I guess we have to make up for our lack-luster streamer performance this past March by getting more of those from Japan for October 27-28 :-D
Other fans also got crepe paper streamers before from the local crafts store, but those don't fly as well ;-D

You can't get the real, proper streamers outside of Japan. A fact that has not deterred ROH fans, but there are standards to uphold in SHIMMER, lest everyone laughs at you.
