I hear she's also a pretty awesome dancer, but seriously she's amazing at everything. Seriously.

Wow, catching up on some of the info. Ouch... Listen, as just one fan's honest opinion here, I feel sick hearing about these sorts of injuries. I love good pro wrestling, but I hate the fact that it's so dangerous that it can take such a toll on people's lives. I guess the same can be said for people in other dangerous professions that are designed to entertain, from stunt people to race car drivers to football players. On the one hand, is it really worth it to risk your long-term health, even your life for a little fame? On the other, people are living their dreams, doing what makes them happy, excelling at things that most of us couldn't dream of doing. Those gifts and talents are being engaged, despite the risks. As far as Madison is concerned, I only learned about her career fairly recently, and was very impressed at the role she played in Shimmer as the top threat for so long and her work in Japan, etc. I was very happy to see her perform live in Vol. 41-42, even if I didn't get to meet her as a fan. She's had a very impressive run as a professional wrestler, and as I've told LuFisto about her own career, even if she never wrestles another day in her life, she can know she's left a deep impression on me and I'm sure many, many others. But admitting that doesn't help her pay the bills or deal with the heartache from (possibly) giving up a dream. I just pray that she and others who are going through similar problems (see recent examples Mercedes, Serena, etc) don't give up, and can find another dream if the first one is prevented from conditions beyond their control. I'm sure it's not the same, being a manager, commentator, or writing a book, but many have done that to transition in the industry. Devoting yourself to family is a wonderful thing. So, like any fan, I'd be thrilled to see Madison Eagles perform again, but I'd rather she be healthy and whole, so I hope she does what is best for her and her loved ones. The Eagles club just won't be the same without its Eagles.

So well said Kurgan!
I am such a huge mark for Madison's work & have had the fortune of watching her grow in the business since she began.
So sad to know one of Australia's best female wrestlers is injured at the moment, but I know that if anyone can overcome this type of injury, it will be her.

She was back at training the other day, albeit just to do some stretching. Slowly but surely...

Like the crowd on Saturday, I really like the Aussie way of pronouncing "Shimmer."
