Highspots has sold its last remaining copies of Volume 8.
Ring of Honor has sold its last remaining copies of Volume 11.
Neither company has any further copies of either title available.
If you missed your chance to get them, PM "Danger" here on the board to see if she has any left of either.
The next title in jeopardy of becoming "out of print" is Volume 10. Highspots has no more copies of it left, and ROH has less than ten copies left.

I still find it kinda odd that Vol 12 sold out before Vol 11. Obviously it's the decider of the tourney, but I think it's a little strange people don't buy it as a couple. This is presuming each volume has the same amount of copies burned.
That's a nice little collection of Sold Out growing on the top banner.

12 had the tournament finals, and also had Stock vs. Del Rey, which everyone was talking about at the time.

Gang, I have 7 copies of 8 and 2 copies of 11 left. Grab them while you can. And pick up my new shirt while you are at it! Click the myspace link at the bottom AD

So, this may be slightly off-topic, but I'll risk it.
As a Shimmer newbie, I don't own ANY DVDs. For someone like me, what are the best couple DVDs to get?
I've seen Cheerleader Melissa wrestle as Alissa Flash in TNA and I've seen a couple Lacey matches and have enjoyed their work. I've never seen MsChif, IHWC, or the Canadian Ninjas wrestle, but they're spoken highly of on this blog.
What's the Forum's advice?

Out of what's available, I'd say start with Volume 10 and buy the ones you can in order. They're all good.

My suggestions...
Vol. 17 - Everyone seems to love Melissa & MsChif vs. Danger & Del Rey. Lacey's final singles match (vs. Sarah Stock) is on there as well.
Vol. 20 - LuFisto vs. Melissa was voted 2008 SHIMMER Match of the Year, plus it has MsChif vs. Martinez, and the first Del Rey vs. Serena match.
Vol. 23 - We loaded this one. Melissa vs. Wesna, Chif vs. Serena, Martinez vs. Kong, Haze vs. Matthews, Del Rey vs. Madison Eagles, IHWC vs. Ashley & Nevaeh, and that's just scratching the surface.
Vols. 27 & 28 will be out in a few weeks.

Basically all the dvds Dave suggested. I also suggest volume 14 & 15. If you are a big Melissa fan, I think you should get Volume 26 especially if you are going to get volume 23.

I'd also suggest 18 for Kong vs Wesna, and also the ridiculass (in a good way) comedy of Jetta vs Daizee. Lacey & Rain vs Ashley & Nevaeh is pretty bad-ass too. Plus there's the small matter of the main event.

Thankfully i have volumes 8 and 10 already, missed out on 7,9 and 12 though. it's weird that volumes between 6 and 13 have sold out the quickest it looks like. I have Volumes 1-6, 8, 10 and 23 so far and am building up the collection.

It's not really weird... the ones that have been out the longest are the ones that sell out because people have had a longer period of time to buy them. Technically, Vols. 1-6 were the first to sell out of the first edition copies. All that's available of those are the retail versions and the re-issue of 1 & 2 as Collector's Edition.

I currently am a proud owner of Volumes 13-26 and have every intention of completing the collection. In fact, I'll do everything I can to eventually circumvent the problem of certain DVDs being sold out, even if that means selling my soul to some sort of wrestling devil.

Just want to let everyone know i am the proud owner now of the LAST copy of Volume 11 as i got it from Allison Danger's Myspace earlier today. Also bought her Dangerous Divas DVD too.
