What have we learnt from this podcast kids - don't take a swipe at Saraya, she WILL repeatedly punch you in the face!

This podcast left me even more confused than ever as to the proper pronunciation of the Shimmer Champion's first name...
Before ever hearing it said, I, for whatever reason, always believed that the "a-y" made a long "I" sound (suh-RI-uh). Joey Eastman's ring announcing and stew and freaky's podcasts confirmed this.
However, Dave always pronounces the "a-y" with a long "A" sound (suh-RAY-uh) on commentary.
In this most recent podcast, Saraya herself alternated between the two pronunciations when talking about her "little princess".
So, which pronunciation is the correct one that we should be using when addressing Mrs. Knight?

The way we've been saying it on commentary is the way she told us to pronounce it.

The above makes sense, though honestly, 99.9% sure she doesn't mind either. I've always used the "suh-RI-ah" pronunciation and I've been friends with her for years and commented on DVDs for her and she's never called or questioned me. Just one of those tomato/tomato things.

When introduced on the documentary trailer, both the champ and the shoot name of the daughter are introduced as Suh-RAY-uh.

Sound somewhat akin to the 'LEE-va'/'LAY-va' controversy from the earliest appearances of Leva Bates. She told me she'll answer to either. lol ;D

She's coming in October... better get ready... EPISODE 44 with ALLYSIN KAY The Women of Wrestling Podcast returns with the third and final member of the fearsome Midwest Militia, Allysin Kay. Kay has had a breakout year in 2012, thanks in large part to her exploits in AIW, where she started the year with a broken nose, came back to win their women’s title, and next weekend will conclude the trilogy as she defends her title in a Cage Match against the woman who broke her nose – Mia Yim. Also, fresh off Shine Wrestling‘s iPPV debut last weekend, Kay talks about tagging up with Taylor Made, and the classic tag team that inspires her work. We talk her early wrestling fandom and her initial favourites, her fantastic and distinctive tattoo, meeting and working with Jessicka Havok, thoughts on the future of WSU under new management, working NCW Femmes Fatales last month and being already announced for SHIMMER this October, accents, twitter, craziness and more. A lot of fun. ringbellesonline.com/2012/07/28/wow-podcast-44-with-allysin-kay/

I wonder if stew and freaky will get to WOW podcast #50 in time to coincide with Shimmer vol. 50?

Storm's interview is great, she really has "presence" on the mic even though half the time I couldn't understand a word she said

I wonder if stew and freaky will get to WOW podcast #50 in time to coincide with Shimmer vol. 50? Unlikely - we've got one more podcast planned for September, but it's doubtful that we could knock out four in four weeks in October to get to episode 50. It's probably going to happen by the end of the year though.
