So, to while away the hours while we wait for the tickets to go on sale for the SHIMMER taping in November, how about listening to Episode #1 of the brand new Women of Wrestling podcast, featuring your heroine and mine, Allison Danger...! Presented by myself and my buddy Lee (aka Freaky Jason), this will be episode #1 of a new series of podcast interviews featuring, you guessed it, the women of wrestling. For future shows, once guests are lined up, I'll try and make them known ahead of time so as to let people submit questions if they wish. You can download it, stream it or use the RSS feed to add it to iTunes at womenofwrestling.podbean.comPlease remember that this is a work in progress, by the way... the podbean front page is a bit dull (I hope to try and spruce that up in due course), and it's been so long since I recorded a podcast, there were a few audio/technical snafus as we did the show - and I thank Allison for her patience in getting the show on the road. Hopefully everything sounds pretty good after post production. We mean what we say at the start though - feedback is good, and appreciated. We'll try and take on board as much of it as we can. Enjoy!

So I just finished listening and I loved it. I laughed during 75% of the time while I was listening. I really look forward to you two doing more podcast but just was some good stuff. My favorite part of the interview was while Danger was telling the story about Jake the Snake, Kendall decides to speak up:
Kendall: Gah gah gaaaaaah!
Allison: Are you trying to tell this story or am I?

Rather than do a trivia deal tonight... I suggest everyone listen to this while the ticket ordering process is going on here at the board!

Indeed so - though funny story was Freaky, who for whatever reason was sounding distant and a bit crackly throughout the interview... it wasn't until afterwards when we were discussing it did I suggest that he check that he was using the most recent version of Skype (4.0)... Freaky checked... he had been using version 2.8... Once he upgraded, we immediately sounded far clearer. And for my part, as the (in the loose sense) producer of the show... it turned out that the old program I was using to record was giving me a slowed down recording, so *literally* at the last minute, I ended up downloading a new program to record the shows. Oh, how I wish I'd done a test recording the day before... All things considered, it sounds alright, I think - and future shows should be better still. Stew and Lee... making life easier for Prazak since 2009...

Is there a way to download so it actually pops up in my Podcast section of iTunes rather than just in my normal library to keep spoken word seperate from music?

Yeah, sorry that I'm so muffled. I suck at technology.

Yeah, if you click on the "Subscribe With iTunes" button 3/4 of the way down the right hand side of the page, it should add "Women of Wrestling" as an entry in the podcast section of iTunes - and subsequently download future eps automatically. I clicked that button as a test, and it seems to work fine for me.

Ah, cheers Stew. I was just clicking the Subscribe button which took me to the Podbean website. That'll learn me for not looking everywhere.
By the by, the link in your signature doesn't work, it only consists of http://
