Excellent. She actually looks like a wrestler now.

You guys have signatures of Wesna and Jetta, who also wear long pants and sleeveless shirts.

With this new gear - and the new hairstyle too - she looks the part. The one-piece means she doesn't have to fiddle with her gear mid-match, and it's a much more flattering cut which suits her body a lot more.
Beforehand, what she was wearing just didn't sit right, and looked too girly for her shape.
By the way, I'm not saying that her body shape is bad, but the old gear accentuated the negatives (her full name on the rear made her look bottom heavy, for example) and hid the positives (like that tattoo, which works a lot better with blue gear, instead of just looking like a pretty bruise).
EDIT: I'll reserve judgement on what her wrestling was like during this tournament until I see it, but from looking at those photos, she does hook in a nice cloverleaf.

I don't think I've ever agreed with anything I've seen posted on this board more than this. Big ups to Summerlyn for the change. I too, however, have not been a big fan of the wrestling I've seen out of her and hope that it improves as well.

I too agree on Rachel's new gear looking great. I think it looks amazing actually.
I don't think she's nearly as bad as people make her out to be either. I saw a few of her matches were she looked, at worst, very competent.

I saw a few of her matches were she looked, at worst, very competent. To be fair, I've only seen a couple of SHIMMER matches, and one or two matches is probably never enough to judge a wrestler's entire body of work. However, from what I saw in those matches, YIKES. She just came off as one of those wrestlers who uses "strong style" as code for "I'm going to hit you hard because I don't know how to throw a punch, kick, or anything else."

Ah, well I've never been to Shimmer live, so the Shimmer match of hers I saw was the one with Kong, which can be tricky.
One of the matches I saw with Rachel was this year against MsChif which I enjoyed. Perhaps that was because she was in the ring with the Shimmer champion however, or maybe she's improved, or could even be that I had the bar set really low that she couldn't help by impress.

Summerlyn did a great job this weekend and more than held her own against Death.
