So for those of you who attended the taping live, what were your thoughts on the show, other than it was six hours of wrestling? :-)
We'd love to hear feedback from as many fans that attended as possible about the matches and the overall changes in production/setup.
We're doing our best to step things up a notch with each live taping. Give us your feedback!

(Moved this over from the Results thread, since it's more appropriate over here) Another fantastic effort. I was at the second taping and this was every bit as good, if not better, if only because Lacey made it to the event. I mark out for over-the-top heels, so she, Rebecca and Amber were a joy to watch as they presented their altered versions of reality. The fact they hit spots and sell like crazy is the cake to my preferred icing. Rain, Lexie and Malia were great, too. And Amazing Kong lived up to her name. Yikes. But what would they do without the good girls? I'm convinced Daizee could wrestle for an hour straight. Nikki Roxx? Anybody who gets in with Kong one-on-one and holds her own (for awhile) has my admiration. Honestly, a great effort by all involved, from vets like Allison, Melissa, and MsChif down to the rookies. Hopefully, we get to see more of what Portia can do in the future. And speaking of, I think the internet match is a good idea. Get a little taste out there for those considering a DVD purchase, though if they find the site, you've probably got a sale already.

Very good show. Congrats to all involved! The "Shimmer-tron" was a nice touch. Maybe in the future you can have entrance videos of all the girls. It would be interresting to see what Mschif would come up with.(I imagine cobras, spiders and hellfire!) Also after 3 awesome shows,I think you should really consider having title tournements(sp?).One for a singles title and one for tag team. Thanks again to all involved. It is so cool to be able to talk and take pics and get autographs from all the girls. You guys are the true professionals.Screw WWE/TNA !YOU ARE THE BEST!! I'm glad I saw you girls who know how to put on a WRESTLING show and bought YOUR merchandise, instead of wasting my money on Judgement Day!!! See you next time!

yeah they should have entrance videos, NECW for their promotions has such for their World Womens Wrestling and NECW shows, SHIMMER could follow off of that.

great show last night. i came from freeport, about 2 hours away and the show was well worth the drive. my idea i'd give to you is make sure that there is a sign for reserved and one for non-reserved. the line got kinda screwed up before we entered yesterday and grown men then started crying. grown ass men. hell, i'm 25, and a few people cut me in line, but it didn't bother me none. anywhere you sat, it was a good seat. so maybe be a little more clear cut with lines. my favorite thing of the night though was K-nox's promo. and her dancing.

Well, I don't know what else to say except it was AWESOME!!!
Sorry, but I could write so much about how good of a time I had and I'd like to keep it short.
I like the video screen, I was hoping Shimmer would use it since AAW does. Hopefully at the next taping there can be a few more videos in between matches.
As for the matches themselves, they are definintly getting better at each taping. And they were ALREADY very good at the first taping!!!
$10 tickets for six hours of great wrestling action is an ABSOLUTE STEAL!!!
Thank You to everyone involved with Shimmer for making this show kick ass and for giving me WAAAAAAYYYYYYY MORE than my money's worth.

Fantastic show. Maybe reserved seats with #S next time? Lighting was a little weird. Sell more merchandise. Shimmer tshirts? The ladies were fantastic in the ring and out. I will be bringing a ton of people next time, and we are coming from WI so you know the show was worth it. And raise your ticket prices to 20-25 aqt least. you are really under selling your selves. Another good location to shoot is parway cheateu/Brat Stop in Kenosha/Pleasent Prairie WI. Higher celings more room, great place. I actually know the owner and can get you good deal on banquet rooms. theyve had UFC there before. I saw a few of the women looking up at ceiling before using off the rope moves and had to modify a lil. let the ;ladies fly,! Thanks for an awesome show. I am now a die hard fan. -Dan USA Martial Arts

Ninja...
There are several reasons to keep the shows in Chicago. First and foremost, the proximity to an international airport. It's great that Cindy Rogers was able to zip out of there after her second match to catch a flight home. The proximity to the airport gets all the international travelers in & out quickly.
Perhaps next time, there actually would be reserved seats for those in the front row.
