Dave on the Indyriffic podcast on MLW Radio today confirmed that SHIMMER Volume 80 on April 2nd in Dallas will be a tournament to crown the first ever Heart of SHIMMER Champion, which will be SHIMMER's first IC Title-equivalent championship. Will be interesting to see who wins it - Nicole Savoy jumps out to me, whilst Nicole Matthews will probably relish the opportunity to become a Triple Crown champion.

Nicole Savoy has become my favorite Nicole (or Nikki for that matter) in Shimmer history. It may step on a few toes, and considering how many Nikkis/Nicoles there have been, I can understand. Mia Yim is more of a personal pick, being she was a Shine singles/tag champ and jobs in WSU and AIW way too often. Also, with the Berwyn Eagles Club deal seemingly over, where and when will the Shimmer two day weekend take place. This time last year, front row tickets for the April shows were on sale. Will the Spring tapings now turn to Summer tapings? I was hoping to get vacation time in early to make the trip to Chicago. That being said, I love supporting the Shimmer product since the in ring work and talent stays top notch even when the wrestlers move on to WWE or Japan. Thank you for the new title, and would love to see it defended in Chicago.

It's likely to be one of the last two weekends in June.
