Since we'll have the Fan Fest later that day, we'll be skipping intermission on Saturday and taping straight through, to make the most of the time we've been given. If necessary, we may shoot some matches on Sunday which will be used on the Saturday DVDs. That actually works better for continuity's sake.

Those who had front row stage seats for the theatre, what seats will they now have for the Eagles Club? Front row. There's actually more space per row in Berwyn than we had for Cicero's stage & floor seating combined.

I am all for the idea of a small "Madison Eagles" themed coffee shop at concessions that weekend, particularly on Saturday. A green/white posterboard to theme it up a little and put a little smile onto people's faces that morning, while people try to take selfies with it of course. Could even raffle off the sign at Q&A? Just tossing out an idea here; selling coffee/(Dunkin)donuts. Profits will be made!

... Or (Nikki) Stormin' Donuts? I didn't get the gist of it, but seem to remember her parading around the ring with a box of donuts one night.

I guess this means that Nicole Savoy will be there. Whoo hoo! Even though I get to see her locally, including tomorrow night, I think she's sensational and love the fact that she gets to have such tremendous competition in Shimmer.

I haven't seen much of Savoy, but she looked good in the Chickfight tournament. I think she's a potential future champion at some point.

She's certainly solidly in that top-tier New Breed group of young women wrestlers along with Evie, Kay Lee Ray, Heidi Lovelace - the international kick-the-crap-out-of-each-other-and-look-good-doing-it crew.
I've got to say that Cheerleader Melissa proved just how freaking great she is to me a couple of weeks ago. She was in that tournament that Gold Coast Wrestling had. The first round match was Cheerleader Melissa vs Nicole Savoy. Nicole was utterly worn out after their match, practically breathless. Melissa was cool as a cucumber, went on to have her next 2 rounds of matches with no problem and win the championship, looking like she had at the beginning of the evening.

SAVOY! Definitely my favorite of the newbies.

She said that she's very excited about this upcoming Shimmer weekend. I was glad to see how solid the local match was that she had on Saturday night - a tag-team match of Nicole Savoy & Kahmora vs Raze & Kikyo Nakamura. I was sitting next to Kikyo's mom for the first part of the show. I was glad that she was elsewhere while I was cheering for her daughter's opponent. Solid work by all 4 women, though.

I did kind of go off Melissa a year ago. I found her second title reign a bit boring when she was a face, then I loved her heel run until it became clear that Lufisto's title chase was awkwardly aborted and the whole Chickfight mess of that feud with Havok happened too. Now she's no longer champion I reckon she'll be more tolerable and I heard she had some good matches at the last tapings.

For the AAW show on October 9th, there was a picture advertising Tessa Blanchard, Mia Yim, and Candace LaRae. Hopefully, this is an indication that they will also be performing for Shimmer that weekend as well.
