wow do yall think wrestling is real I mean it is a form sports entertainment do you know what the word kayfabe means& [/quote Really? Do you mean to suggest wrestling is....GASP.....predetermined? First of all the phrase "sports entertainment" should be banned from this board. But if on the slight chance you really are asking if we know what kayfabe is and yada yada, uh, yeah we do, it's called "suspension of disbelief". Do you go to a movie really thinking the actual zombies on screen will eat humans flesh or 104 year old Rocky Balboa can even last a round let alone fight someone? No, but you root for who you like and boo who you don't. Did Nicole really want to murder or whatever Madison? Of course not, WE KNOW THAT but what the heck is the harm of exploring angles we, the FANS, would like to see or not see?

wow do yall think wrestling is real I mean it is a form sports entertainment do you know what the word kayfabe means& [/quote ok the I don't think the word is bad it's just the guy who preaches it like it's something different but he never created the word he just rip it off like everything he's done his whole life the truth is roller derby Pro Poker and even UFC at times fall in the same category second I get it now sorry the truth is Cheerleader Melissa is hands down my favorite in wrestling and her heel turn was kinda heartbreaking but at the same time I have to belive she's not like that in real life oh and also yes I belive in the movie stuff but wrestling is kinda different the fact that when someone does die in wrestling it's real like in mexico I and also some of them use their real names like Leva Bates and Nicole Matthews I just don't want to hate on them at a Wrestling Con or so on I wouldn't hate on John Barrowman at Comic Con but his Character on Arrow is worse than Portia or Nicole or Saraya for that matter he had his daughter kill someone close to her Really? Do you mean to suggest wrestling is....GASP.....predetermined? First of all the phrase "sports entertainment" should be banned from this board. I just get excited when Shimmer is considered sports entertainment or, even worse, "fake". Is it predetermined? Hell yeah but theres nothing fake about taking the bumps over and over and getting hurt and busting their butts to make people happy. On your point I certainly get the "heartbreaking" aspect with Shimmer. Like I said, it's real to me so you "feel" it more. When Death Rey lost her belt I was crushed. Danger is what got my butt into Shimmer but Sara is what made me a fan. So for my first in-person show to have her lose the title just sucked. Irony of it is I also was crushed when her dethroner, the almighty Chif lost her title in a completely one-sided match to Madison I felt it as well. I don't think anyone "hates" on them. At least for real anyway. I crap my pants just watching Saraya on dvd, however. I think most of us fans want it both ways however. We like shoot comments and insider stuff yet yearn for the return of kayfabe. Intermission was always my favorite part of the show (disregarding the inevitable trampling however) because it made me feel honored to be able to interact and support the wrestlers by spending cash on them. 95% of them were always cool although the funniest thing I ever saw was an unnamed heel rookie wrestler being a jerk and standing by 2 unnamed babyface wrestlers who asked each other (Who the F does she think she is anyway?).. Wait... what am I ever rambling about anymore?

Pro Wrestling is theater - any good theater should affect you emotionally. I didn't think that Eagles was truly injured when Nicole Matthews threw burning material in her eyes when she won the title. But Eagles is an incredibly appealing character to me, so it was heart-wrenching to hear her screaming in pain and to see Matthews so happy about it. That's good theater. Is theater fake? It's not real life, but it is real theater. The same with pro wrestling, hopefully. Because when real things happen in pro wrestling, as with the tragedy in AAA/Crash this past Sunday, that's heart-wrenching in a way that I would prefer never happen again in pro wrestling or any other form of performance art.

Wait... what am I ever rambling about anymore? yeah totally agree and everyone enjoy the show my pick to win Tournament I hope it's either Kay Lee Rey or Athena it ain't going to be J Hav or Mia since they're both in TNA ans Mia's also the Shine Champion but I think it would Awesome if Havok Demon Drops Melissa and Elimates her (but I don't want to win either give to someone else hasn't been Champion) and I hope Tomoka beats Nikki how sweet would it be if she retires as a 2 time tag team champion and one time Shimmer Champion

This angle really does seem to be pointing towards a split I feel. They are just arguing far too much at the moment.

I don't think they are arguing THAT much, and I personally don't get the feeling that they're splitting. Portia was disappointed that Nicole failed to help her win against Evie (which is normal), but in the end Portia still came out to help Nicole win against Tomoka. I could see Portia getting a title shot against Nicole, but right now I just don't see them splitting for good and hating each other. Hasn't them arguing sometimes been happening for a long time now anyway? At this point, they may very well be doing it just to mess with fans.

But there was the tension after Matthews teamed with Eagles, then Matthews left Portia 4 on 1 in Autumn, then Portia couldn't get hold of Nicole on the phone (unless that was solely played for laughs) and now this. It has been going on for a while, but maybe it's so that when they do split we'll eventually feel sorry for Portia and be on her side after how Matthews is treating her?

How can we feel sorry for someone who tried to kill Danger's baby. Nicole maybe a dick but she at least she wouldn't attack someone's baby...not yet anyway.

Why would the crowd feel sorry for someone who's constantly helping a cheater win, though? When Havok went after Portia after she accidentally hit her with a wrench I thought that could have been the start of a slow babyface turn for Portia, but now she's still helping Nicole cheat all the time, I don't think so anymore.
