Annie Social is still working from time to time. She was on last night's Bombshell Ladies Of Wrestling show.

I loved Annie Social. She isn't the best worker on the roster at all, but damn if she wasn't a great heat magnet and I wish she was still around as a manager.

Any word on Ariel or Christi Ricci returning to action?

I don't know if Ariel's wrestled since giving birth and I always assumed there was a reason Ricci never returned.

Ariel's actually getting ready to give birth to her third child in the very near future.

Wow,3 for Ariel? Seems not long ago she was a 16 year old wrestler showing most of New England what she had in the ring. I hope she comes back. Would also like to see Kristin Astara (Krissy Vain) in SHIMMER, where has she been?

There are literally dozens of currently active pro wrestlers who are working shows every weekend who are trying to get spots on the shows. Just sayin'.

I remember reading that Krissy Vain was getting or got married. I wasn't sure if she left wrestling in general of just WWE. Seems like she would be good for SHIMMER. It is nice to see some other girls featured in other promotions. Seems like they use the same girls over & over. Gets kinda boring...............

Since she's not wrestling on those shows (which are local for her), I don't think she really wants to wrestle these days. Wait, do you mean us? I believe we've had more of a variety of talent over a span of 10 shows than basically any wrestling promotion in the world, even though we run so infrequently in comparison to most. We've probably utilized over 50 different wrestlers over the past 10 shows we've held, while most promotions only use between 20 and 30 different wrestlers over the same number of shows.

The last post got me curious, so I took a look at the talent lists of the more recent SHIMMER shows to see just how many different wrestlers we have been using as of late. It came out to 50 different wrestlers on the main show within the last 9 shows. If you include the tapings before that, it would be 56 different wrestlers over our last 13 shows, plus Sparkle wrestlers on top of that (if you're counting them). Here's the list...

1. Mia Yim 2. Amazing Kong 3. Veda Scott 4. Shazza McKenzie 5. Cherry Bomb 6. Kimber Lee 7. Christina Von Eerie 8. Evie 9. Kalamity 10. Rhia O'Reilly 11. Yuu Yamagata 12. Mercedes Martinez 13. Ayumi Kurihara 14. Serena Deeb 15. Allison Danger 16. Leva Bates 17. Sassy Stephie 18. Nevaeh 19. Jessicka Havok 20. Madison Eagles 21. Jessie McKay 22. Portia Perez 23. Nicole Matthews 24. Kana 25. LuFisto 26. Allysin Kay 27. Taylor Made 28. Tomoka Nakagawa 29. Kellie Skater 30. Athena 31. Ayako Hamada 32. Cheerleader Melissa 33. Saraya Knight 34. Santana Garrett 35. Miss Natural 36. MsChif 37. NO, I was not suggesting SHIMMER in my previous post. I am sure it has a lot to do with travel etc. I kinda like how MLW has all sorts of new faces and brings girls in from all over regardless of their looks (divas). Hopefully it will stay that way with the new owners.

A lot of wrestlers I liked from the earlier days have retired or dropped off the radar. K-nox seemed to lose her nerve after the injury, Sarah Stock attempted a comeback but the magic was gone, Wesna retired in '10, Malia called it a career after 25 years, Ariel moved on and had kids, Jen Blake is in Mexico, and Amber O'Neal moved on to WSU and WOW. (She's one I really hope to see back.) I miss them, but there's been no shortage of awesome talent coming in to take their place. The Canadian, Australian and Japanese invasions have really altered the landscape of SHIMMER since those first 3 years.
