It was a given Hamada would be there, but great news none-the-less. I suppose the next big names would have to be our resident Ninjas, Mercedes and Saraya.

The championship victory for "3G" was Skater's first in SHIMMER competition, and Nakagawa's second (the first being her SHIMMER Tag Team Championship reign with partner Daizee Haze). MADISON EAGLESFormer SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles made history during 2011 as the first wrestler to defend the title outside of the United States. After an impressive title reign which included successful defenses against Melissa, Ayumi Kurihara, MsChif, Ayako Hamada, Serena Deeb, Hiroyo Matsumoto and others, Eagles was forced onto the sidelines for the duration of 2012 with a severe knee injury. North America is next on the agenda for Nikki Storm, and we're pleased to have her as part of the SHIMMER roster for October's events in Berwyn. Visit www.nikkistorm.com to learn more about her. AYAKO HAMADAEver since her arrival in 2009, Ayako Hamada has been an essential member of the SHIMMER roster. One of the most accomplished female athletes in professional wrestling history, Ayako has been in some of the most exciting SHIMMER matches over the years. From her wild brawl throughout the Eagles Club against Sara Del Rey, to her hard hitting technical wrestling clinics against opponents such as Mercedes Martinez, Daizee Haze, Cheerleader Melissa, Madison Eagles and Kana, Hamada has earned the recognition of being SHIMMER's "MVP." A lot has changed in four years. Yeah, so many new faces. I got a small taste in Jersey for 53, but I've missed the 'full' experience. I know it'll be great as always.

I think these shows are going to be a big chance for some talents to step up, especially with the injuries to Athena and Rush, the retirement of Danger and Kalamity being on indefinite sabbatical.

This will be my first SHIMMER shows. Do the wrestlers do meet and greets? You get about 15 minutes of hectic intermission to buy merchandise between each taping and then hours of after party to meet and greet to your heart's content.

You know as well as I do the wrestlers don't show up to those. But, you have the 15 minutes at intermission, and that's pretty much it, so be sure to get your stuff and say hi to the wrestlers there. If you're lucky, MAYBE one or two show up to the after-party, but it's usually SPARKLE wrestlers.

In my 4 Berwyn trips I have found that a majority of the wrestlers show up at the after party and of that majority, the vast majority are really good about meeting and greeting. I have my daughter and a friend I always bring (in the 11-12 range) and everyone of the athletes they have approached have been very willing to at least give them a couple of minutes. Courtney Rush, Rhia, CVE, Su Young, Allison Kaye, Taylor Made, Athena, Saraya, Skater and many others have been awesome. Leva is always in the midst of things, and I think Melissa has shown up at every after party I have been too. In short, if you are patient, and treat them with respect, I think you will be very surprised.
My thoughts.
