The commentary was ridiculous. Battle Royal? No, it's a twerk-off. "Oh, this is it, battle royal's over, double clothesline reversed into a double elimination, watch." "No, these girl's are too smart for that." "Nope, watch, there it goes, double clothesline reversed into a double elimination!" I think the icing on the cake was the fact that during the two extensive breaks, High spots played the Kevin Steen Show teaser clip with Michael Elgin talking about doing unclassy things with rats four times over during an all female show. "They're not doing a very good job of working the hard cam" was another terrible line. Just awful commentary. Not a good show all in all. I know the plan is that this would be the "first of many" - but they're going to have to rethink what their plans are before a second show as the two intermissions and unannounced Battle Royale appeared to be there simply to extend the running time of the show.

It was pretty cute when Leva's mom went nuts after she won the battle royal though.

It wasn't a good turn out. They should've done a lot more local advertising in papers and flyers. Plus more on the net, I wouldn't have known about this show if not for randomly seeing a poster on FB originally.
Leva v Havok was match of the night to me. TK vs Natural then Dobson vs Jazz. Mary is still very new, very green, so Jazz stayed in her boundaries and made it work.
Is Lady Vendetta legit Dark Shadow's mom? Not really cool with Pondo's daughter getting in there at such a young age and clearly not being ready for it. Lil Naughty was not good either, but Nevaeh was a real pro for making the best of it. But unfortunately these are the locals in KY - Heidi and Josie were there running the Highspots table. They should've been on the show instead of Dark Shadow and Vendetta. Otherwise, aside from the small crop in OVW, this is what we have in these parts. A shame some of the less skilled were exposed.
There were raffle tickets being sold during the first intermission and I believe the iPPV peeps were working on the issues then. The second intermission was when the raffle winners were drawn, 3 in all. Most of the women were selling their merch during the second as well. And the BR was a filler, done they said because the Nsane crowd usually enjoys them but honestly it was more to fill time I think. If nothing else it was enjoyable.
Hopefully Pondo will learn from this and maybe seek out a partnership to get more seasoned talent if he runs another all female show. There were several fans there who were excited to have a show like this so there was enthusiasm. There needs to be a LOT more local promotion, as well as more Internet advertisement beyond a FB banner and event group. And honestly I think the thing was mostly geared towards Mary - which that's okay as she seems to really want to get away from death matches, but her vs Jazz wasn't as good because of her limitations. They couldn't really go all out.
I dunno. FWIW I liked it and it was worth the money to see Jazz in person for the first time, and Havok, Leva and Natural are always worth the drive. So we'll see what happens. A local wrestler, Reed Bentley did his best to get the crowd into it bless his heart.
