You know I really wish that the next shimmer tapings would be on Oct 20 and 21st instead of the 27th and 28th. That is Halloween weekend and many people like to go to Halloween parties.
You see I am in a dilemma. For the past three years in a row I have gone to Las Vegas for Halloween weekend. In fact this year I already bought a ticket for the Fetish and Fantasy ball at the Hard Rock Hotel. Yet I have been attending Shimmer events consistently for ever since volume 10. Shimmer events are only held twice a year so I really dont want to miss that either. I have been thinking about this a lot and I cannot decide. If only these events did not have to be on the same day! Whichever event I do chose I am missing out on an event that I really want to go to.
Does anyone know when the tickets for shimmer will go on sale?

If Sarah Stock were to be booked for a Shimmer weekend / taping, given that she's under contract with TNA, would it be possible to announce her in advance? Just wondering. Thanks!

If she were booked, we would advertise her, yes. To be honest, we've sort of made a decision that it's wiser for us to spend money on utilizing independent talent (or foreign talent) that can benefit from the exposure of being on our shows, rather than paying TNA to use their talent.

Good decision. Even if you paid TNA isn't it the case that they could pull them at any time? Thought I read that somewhere regarding them letting their wrestlers be booked on independent promotions. Plus it'd be more likely that their appearance would be a one-off, and I'd rather the money go towards talent that could come back and be involved in story lines over the year. |

If they're needed for TNA events, they can be pulled. It's a hefty price tag as well, a portion of which doesn't even go to the wrestler being booked, it's just paying TNA for the privilege of using their wrestlers. That money could be spent elsewhere, on different talent. |

WrestlingMoment: At #SHIMMER Volume 50, everyone ringside does a full Daniel Bryan shuffle around the ring (still behind guardrail) screaming "YES! YES! YES!" GAs throw streamers during. Though the entrance would have to be opened for that.
Or am I still excited from the entire Wrestlemania weekend?

I THINK I may be able to go! Just need a final check with the Open University as to when my exam is (I still think early October) I couldn't help but imagine the Knights as invigilators - you'd thnk twice before you forgot your photo ID or forgot to attach your stuff properly come the end of the exam. |
