she's gotta put athena over, why would she get a title shot? "Got to"? Besides, given the right circumstances, there's no reason why a losing wrestler can't get over as much as the winner. Also, I'm stirring with the poster -I'm not saying that it's a foreshadowing of the future, but it was quite funny to see.

the way I see it, Athena is in the Serena Position (despite having the "Steve Austin" Traits), in that she finally will get her come uppings by hitting the O-Face o n MM and pinning her. MM doesn't lose any lustre either especially now that she's a heel and it's fresh ground that is very very rarely had any success particularly to how she has been booked where either fans cheer her no matter what or it's more of a Smart "Here comes the heel, Play along everyone, BOOOOOOO." And that's not a heel,
While trying not to go on my "What's do I think is a "Heel"?" rant, To me A heel (doesn't matter what gender) is someone you HATE because he/she is a jerk, has something sleazy or scuzzy about them or really puts the screws to a babyface creating enough heat to the point you would want to hop the rail to fight him/her (Like Jerry Lawler in 1993) but can't (because you'll look like a major goof) so instead you really want the babyface to Kick their asses.
That's why the promo is so key for MM. It's the "WM13 Angry Bret Hart" Promo of the combination of everything over the past few years and ""her" Fans turning on her for Athena" causing her to finally snap and beat the crap out of Athena. Then she can squash a Jabroni babyface and try to do what she did to Athena until Athena makes the save (I'd like to see her hop the rail from the crowd as she was "injured" in the prior volume as opposed from the entrance).

[/img] ;D
Although this could be something this weekend, you want to make MM a bigger heel (bigger than the Ninjas), you have her beat Melissa with dirty tactics and a post match Buster on a chair and mocks the fans as everyone likes Melissa "Look at me I'm the Champion! Shhhhhhhhh " as a mocking the fans technique as they won't be happy about Melissa losing. It's like when an opposing teams player scores a touchdown (especially a crucial one that will cement the game) and gives the "Shhhhhhh" to the fans. We shall see....

Bust off her cast and clock a "fan" over the head with it, perhaps? Some characters don't go over the top to where you want to hate. You just get mad at them for "betraying" your love for them by cheating. That can still be effective, at least for me. Not sure what I think of the whole 'tweener' thing, if I even understand it.

Super strong day yesterday, despite the loss to Athena, it was probably the best match of the day. Then she put in another amazing effort in beating Kana.

She still needs to sell out to the fans and from what I saw from Darkfire's pic. That's not a heel... I hope she's' in cahoots with Saraya...tie in for next weekend in the UK...

Rumor is at the next taping she will tear up a child's autograph book and push over a stunt granny.

It feels like she's a 'tweener at the moment. Her heel turn is very subtle. She's upped the arrogance (brushing her shoulder after beating Hailey and Kana - no mean task!) and refusing to be a good sportswoman by shaking hands after the match like she used to. Personally I like it, not every turn needs to be balls to the wall immediately.

Rumor is at the next taping she will tear up a child's autograph book and push over a stunt granny. I see what you did there, well played. MM's matches were some of the BEST of Vol. 45-46. I like how she couldn't stop herself from smiling a couple times. She just loves being out there! (play it off as she loves beating people up) I was worried we wouldn't see her again after her injuries. Really cool to meet her at halftime. As for the poster, maybe we're seeing the future again, like when Melissa played the champion in Billy Corgan's video and then she became it for real.

Not quite, that was the tag belt she had in the video, haha. It did have lavender paint on it, didn't it? Forgot that detail! And she was AF, not CLM... Still, and you could say there's no "Ladies Championship" in Shimmer ('cause it's ALL ladies). STILL... Go with me here! It's the FUTURE... As long as Mercedes flashes at least one smile per show, I'm happy. PS: Anybody else reminded of Dune when they see or hear the name "Steve Corrino"?

As of the time I type this, Mercedes won that other belt back from Jessicka Havok. However, there is still another DVD taping to come this evening...
