I think the lesson learned in all of this is that you shouldn't write off or skip a show just because some men might also be wrestling on the show. Yes and no. At the end of the day, you like what you like and you don't like what you don't like. I've explained the reasons (in so much as even I understand 'em) for my disinterest in guys wrestling. If we're talking about attending a local show and just paying the ticket price on the door, then I agree. It's obviously worth taking a punt on a show, even if you're maybe only interested in half of the matches (for whatever reason). But once a trip to a show includes travelling, train fares, an overnight stay and so on, then the cost has to be taken into consideration too - particularly if funds are low. You're not wrong, in that if I had missed this show and subsequently saw the results, I would have been proper gutted. But that doesn't mean I won't still consider the pros and cons of any future 'mixed' shows, be that Eve or elsewhere.

I was meant to go to this show, but actually forgot about it! I'll try and make the next one if the new location isn't too out-of-the-way for me.

Almost the same length of time on the train for me. A few minutes difference. Think it's the date that's the issue for me actually!

I've been thinking about going to the May 25th show, and I do need to drive my car a fair way, just need to sort timing out, as I need to be back in London sharpish the next day for a gig.

Don't forget the May show is an afternoon event, kicking off at 2.30pm (well, 2.30 pm 'ish anyway!). Unless you're planning on staying for the SWE event at the same venue that evening, I imagine the Eve show will be done by 5.30 at the latest.

Breaking news - I will be in Nottingham for Queen of the Ring 2013~!
The lineup for the tourney was recently completed...
*Alpha Female *Blue Nikita *Shanna *Kay Lee Ray *Emi Sakura *Leah von Dutch *Leah Owens *Kasey Owens
The first match in the tourney got confirmed, it'll be Twin vs. Twin, as Leah Owens takes on Kasey Owens.
I'll also be sticking around for SWE's Speed King 2, so many great matches on that card, especially the MK McKinnan/Zack Sabre Jr. rematch. Then first thing Sunday morning, gunning it back down the M1 to London so I can get to the Muse gig at the Emirates.

Hadn't seen it explicitly advertised, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't on the show.

Hadn't seen it explicitly advertised, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't on the show. Apparently Ayesha's out of the country on the 25th. I asked on FB if the remaining wrestlers (Rhia, Viper and Bete) would still be on the show in some capacity; Eve responded with a "Maybe." I certainly hope so.

Just announced, due to recent big wins and impressive performances at recent shows, Rhia O'Reilly will get the shot at Nikki Storm's Pro Wrestling EVE Title on May 25th in Nottingham.

Is the venue easy to get to from the train station, and how long would it take?
I've only been in Nottingham once before - for the epic EVE/Ice Ribbon weekend - but the show is being held in a different location this time.
Obviously public transport would be grand if it was handy and simple enough. But if it came to taking a taxi, would it cost much?
Thanks kindly for any help.

If you're getting the train, it's about 3 miles from the railway station.
