I'm staying at the Rodeway Inn in Lyons. Was good to me last time. Reasonable taxi ride from there to the Eagles Club.

Front row seating is now completely sold out for the weekend. If any open back up due to non-payment or anything of that nature, we'll post an announcement here on the board. General admission tickets for the shows are available using the PayPal buttons on the main page of www.shimmerwrestling.com/ right now.

Thanks Zanod! That IS cheap. Has anyone ever died of alcohol poisoning at a show?!!! They could sell nothing but PBR's and I'd still be happy. I'm gonna try not to get laryngitis the first day or show.

Must get down to business soon. Are there any Motel 6's in the area? I must stay somewhere classy that weekend. Is there booze @ The Eagles? If Motel 6 is your choice, the nearest ones are in Schiller Park (around O'Hare) and Villa Park. A lot of folks go to the Rodeway Inn in Lyons, as it's the closest halfway decent hotel/motel to Berwyn. I prefer staying in the Oak Brook area, usually a 15-20 minute drive from the Eagles Club. Folks have also been known to stay in Bridgeview, Willowbrook and around Midway Airport, all of those areas are reasonably close to the Club. Oak Park is too.

I'm a total cheapskate and just ended up booking my room on Priceline. I stayed in Bridgeview last time. Took maybe about 20 minutes to make it to Berwyn and wasn't bad at all.
Is it March yet?

Just out of curiosity, what's the afterparty situation look like? Doing Michael Anthony's again or looking at a new place?

Very sad to not be making it this time after going for the last three. Money is tight, but I'm already saving for the next one after this.

Just read about a new Illinois law in effect today that all passengers in private vehicles, front and back, need to wear seatbelts. Taxicabs are excluded.
