As of Jan 1st 2013 The World Association of Womens Wrestling has changed its name now to Bellatrix, The company is being revamped and sponsors wanted a fresh start to the new year with a fresh approach. As the shows are all called Bellatrix we feel that this is the right choice for new branding and a new logo is being made. Roll on 2013.

I like the idea of renaming the company. I'm not entirely sure where the "Bellatrix" name came from (I'm assuming it's named after the star for the time being), but I definitely like the creative direction.
Old-school acronym promotion names are just too hard to keep track of anymore (How many PWA's are there again?), so this was the right move. I think the promotion will be much more successful as a result.

I'm not entirely sure where the "Bellatrix" name came from... It's Latin for female warrior.

Sweet, I'm there.
I'm glad I bought a diesel car. I'm going to be racking up some miles to get to all these shows around the UK over the next few months.

In some breaking news, there's a new agreement between Bellatrix and LDN Wrestling that will allow Bellatrix to run shows in some famous British wrestling venues, including the Princes Theatre in Clacton on Sea, the Thurrock Civic Hall in Grays, and most importantly to me, arguably one of the most famous British wrestling venues of all, the Fairfield Halls in Croydon. It will largely be an all-female show, except for one LDN Wrestling match, which will be for their Heavyweight Title, so you'll be getting the best quality male match they can provide.

statement out this afternoon.
LDN WRESTLING is pleased to announce a working relationship with Bellatrix Women’s wrestling and will be providing joint women shows in established LDN venues such as the historical Fairfield Halls in Croydon, the Princes Theatre in Clacton on Sea, and the Thurrock Civic Hall in Grays. The shows will also feature one male only contest which will be for the LDN British Heavyweight Championship.
Bellatrix Women’s Wrestling owner and legend Sweet Saraya commented, “LDN hasn’t had women’s matches since their TV days, I’m coming in and kicking arse. Things are about to shake up in LDN. These girls are as good if not better than the men.”
Sanjay Bagga, Managing Director commented, “It gives the great people who come to my shows something different to see. I look forward to bringing girls matches to these fantastic venues. The public wants it, they got it!

BELLATRIX BREAKING NEWS +++++++++++++++++++
Bellatrix have announced this morning that Phobia will be returning for show 5. The controversial masked star debuted at Bellatrix 2 and proved a very frightening individual with the crowd scattering on her entrance. Her manager Sam Knee is promising a even more intense and focused star this time and predicts she will become Bellarix champion sooner rather than later.
Bellatrix are also happy to welcome two new stars to the roster Becky Mason and Bacardi have been signed and we are sure our fans will be happy to see our roster getting bigger each time.
