Unlike the Australian match, where there were genuine doubts over the result (I swore to hell that Nicole was going to win the title, mainly due to being flown all the way from Canada to Australia), I see no doubt here.

I would not be confident in predicting a Saraya victory over Destiny.
Time will tell....it is professional wrestling. Keeping mum on my various reasons for thinking this way.

Agreed. Hopefully it's a good match but the title isn't going to change hands to someone who is relatively unknown to Shimmer fans.

for those who dont know, Destiny is into her 11th year as a pro wrestler and has held every major belt in the UK and in fact beat Saraya over 7 rounds 2-0 to win the WAW British and world title in 2006. In one of the best womans bouts i have seen. I guarantee this match will be a humdinger, dont let the fact Destiny is not YET a international star fool you and if she does win, Shimmer fans will definately know who she is.

I think this criticism should motivate you guys to prove everyone wrong. That's what I'd do if I were in your position. Sure Destiny isn't the flashiest wrestler or one of the most well known. But Saraya knows her well, and if anyone can have a great match with Destiny, it's Saraya.

Was thinking about this last night, and for what it's worth, since the inauguration of the SHIMMER Championship, only once out of four times did people see the title change coming. Nobody saw MsChif beating Del Rey, nobody saw Eagles beating MsChif and nobody saw Saraya beating Melissa. The only one that people kinda expected was Melissa beating Eagles.
I know it's kinda different here, given that it's a challenger who has never yet stepped in a SHIMMER ring, but it's something to bear in mind.

Results: 1. Phobia pinned Chanel with a powerbomb. 2. Violet O’Hara beat Bacardi with the Sliced Bread #2. 3. Miss Mina made Amy Lee tap out with a Dragon Sleeper. 4. Liberty pinned Queen Maya with a sunset flip powerbomb to win the RQW Women’s Championship. 5. Skarlett made Rebecca Mason tap out to the Skarlett’s Web with just 2 second remaining in the match. 6. Erin Angel defeated Penelope with a moonsault. 7. Saraya Knight beat Destiny by 2 falls to 1 to retain the SHIMMER Championship. - First fall: Destiny pinned Saraya with an avalanche and big splash in round 2. - Second fall: Saraya pinned Destiny with a roll-up in round 5. - Third fall: Saraya pinned Destiny with a second rope splash in round 7. Thoughts in the link, but I think that the roster should be very happy with themselves. ringbellesonline.com/2013/03/24/bellatrix-5-live-results-shimmer-champion-saraya-knight-v-destiny/

I enjoyed the show, wasn't perfect, but was a heck of an effort, and the stream quality, albeit with an advantage coming from a TV studio, was amazing. Of the wrestlers I've either not seen before or haven't seen a lot of recently, it was Miss Mina, Liberty and Penelope who impressed me the most. Main event told a good story, especially with Saraya bleeding. Becky Mason had a good match considering that was her first match for quite a while. My only issue was with Bacardi. She had a god awful match on an EVOLVE show last year, and she hasn't improved much at all since. As a result, the finish to that match was horribly tremendous.

well Saraya got busted open by Destiny in her Shimmer title defence, (well done to both for a great match). which must make it probable that the cut may well get opened up again or fresh ones made by Lufisto in this coming weekends title defence at Femmes Fatales.... ...and the week after (if defended successfully) sees any cuts highly likely to be burst open once again in the cage match against Cheerleader Melissa. tsk ........ all part of being champ I guess.
