I'm not saying Madison will lose because she is injured, I just like Nicole and would be happy if she won
Though I am curious to if there will be any follow up with Portia who may be wondering why Nicole was the first Canadian Ninja to get a title shot

I'm amused by all the doubting of our Champ going on in this thread. Jessie's a pushover who both Nicole and Madison have destroyed on numerous occassions. So that leaves Nicole as the only real threat. But Nicole has a weakness in that she can get cocky. And that's a dangerous thing to do around Eagles because she will swoop in and make her pay for having any sort of self-esteem. My prediction: Eagles wins easy (and she'll be all healed by then too just to make it even more likely) Oh ye of little faith. This is exactly the kind of match where Jessie will take advantage of bickering and backbiting between Eagles and Matthews and steal away with the gold with back-to-back Boyfriend Stealers. I've always said if the Cubs could get in a three-way baseball game, you never know what they might do. World Champions? Maybe so. |

Whatever the outcome, it is sure to be a most excellent match. To have a Championship defended internationally is a major accomplishment for a promotion. And either way, an Australian or Canadian will hold the Title.
As far as the status of the Shimmer Championship, the way I see it is that the best wrestlers from promotions around the world are invited to come to Shimmer to prove they're the better than everyone else. Most competitors hold Titles in their home promotions: Madison Eagles is PWWA Champion, Nicole Matthews is ECCWA Supergirls Champion, Mercedez Martinez is WSU Champion, etc etc. The Shimmer Wrestling Champion and Tag Team Champions are the best wrestlers in Shimmer, and that's what makes them best in the world.
