What's her cut? I wouldn't want a middle man to get too much money.

Saw the TLC match yesterday and it is worth buying the DVD just for the match. It is brutal and I feel it was Match of the night.

Mia Yim returns from Japan today after a successful tour at REINA X World that saw her win a 3-way match with Leah von Dutch and Crazy Mary Dobson. Then she substituted for the injured Aoi Ishibashi in the main event tag title match and teamed with Aki Kambayashi vs Shida/Fujimoto. The belts went to the Ice Ribbon team. Her stay in the USA may be short-lived as she has been featured in the new REINA X World website that was launched today. www.reina-world.com/index.html# I would not be surprised to learn that Mia has signed an extended contract with RxW and will be returning for the summer begining with the 6/24 show. After all, they love Mia's work in the ring and fans seem enthusiastic for her too. Aoi is out with a broken collarbone until at least December -- Aki needs a regular who is reliable and who can draw. This is a great opportunity for Mia to realize her dream of living the joshi life in Japan and getting that fantastic dojo training. On the other hand, if she is restricted to RxW and cannot be "free" to book with other promotions, it may end up being a cul de sac instead of a highway of dreams. Too early to tell if this may affect her participation in SHIMMER this October.

Are the Joshi tours in like a rotation of three months? She could probably be back in October.

It's whenever they want her. No set rotation.

AIW have uploaded Mia Yim vs Allysin Kay from GNO6 to Youtube for people to watch for free. Nice way to get people interested for GNO7

She could of done worse with exclusive contracts. REINA will let Mia compete at a very high level, unlike a certain 2 major US based companies. If she won't return for the next SHIMMER, we can still expect her at SHINE 3. shinewrestling.com/events/shine-2

She said she'd keep her dates in Sept but I bet she won't be at Shimmer in October. A shame but she's said from the start her goal was to live/work in Japan. Congrats to her!

I add my congratulations to Mia for the REINAxWORLD contract. It represents a dream-come-true for her. She is young enough and motivated enough to be the next Hailey Hatred or Dark Angel. I am eager to see where her passion and skill take her. I would not expect her at SHIMMER in October, but I would not rule out the April SHIMMER events in NJ and IL. That will be about 6 months out and she says that she hopes to return to the USA to wrestle about every 3 months. Ganbatte, Mia! Attachments:

A big congrats to Mia Yim on her new contract. She has definitely improved by leaps and bounds in the past short while, and this is a testament to it. I hope I can see her in April, since October is unlikely.

Two SHIMMER roster members battled in the main event in Boonton NJ at IndyGurlz War of Roses 3. Super Hardcore Anime LuFisto took on Mia Yim in a blistering match of stiff kicks, backbreakers, LuFisto used a Chibi Stomp and Mia ended the match with her SkyYim. There was an out-of-ring segement as well. With Mia heading to Japan to the REINAxWORLD stable, this is as close as they will come to a SHIMMER quality match. I truly hope the dvd does get cut in this hit-or-miss promotion. I recommend it for this match alone. Attachments:
