Just re: Jamilia Craft. Absolutely fantastic news.
Got me thinking though, whatever happened to the lovely Rayna Von Tosh?

Best of luck to Jamilia Craft, hopefully it turns out to be a real fruitful experience.
That perhaps leaves a roster spot open, if so, I hear Jenny Sjödin is free that weekend.

I apologize if this is out of line at all but until I see otherwise, I'm going to operate under the assumption that due to all the stuff that's been happening with EVE and the Knights that if SHIMMER is going to keep booking the Knights that by proxy, SHIMMER is under a talent agreement with WAWW and not EVE. So I'm not expecting to see any EVE talent be booked as long as Britani and Saraya are being booked.

Can I just say that it is criminal Blue Nikita has not been used in SHIMMER yet. Criminal. Having said that, The Alpha Female would be a great addition to the roster. Her v Melissa, for example, would be immense!!!

Yeah I'm hoping the Knights, and Knox, return to Shimmer again. (Still waiting for the DVD's of them to be released with baited breath!). Obviously Jessie, the Ninjas, MsChif, Skater, Bates and Danger are high on my wanted list too.

I'm right there with you, I've been waiting for these next few dvds since March. On a side-note I wonder why shimmer has yet to create or establish a mid-card title for women who still have some time to go til they're are main-eventers. Maybe for women like Melanie Cruise, Athena, Jessie McKay, Kellie Skater, etc.

It was discussed among the talent and was determined unnecessary by the majority. Too many championships waters down the importance of any of them. Anyone can work their way into contention with key wins. Even on your list of wrestlers who "have some time to go," McKay, for example, has already main evented and beaten main eventers. Nothing says she should be relegated to fighting for a "less important" title than everyone else.

With 8 shows a year, I don't wanna see a mid-card Shimmer title. It seems like the tag titles have struggled to retain prominence, another title would muddy the waters and make booking less creative if there's gonna be room for building grudge matches too.
All singles prestige on one person, all tag prestige on two people. It's the way it should be.

I understand all points that have been made, but it just seems like there are so many girls on the roster and with 9 or 10 matches on a card it would seem like a nice title for girls who realistically could get title shots but wouldn't win the shimmer title for years. I'd be fine with no mid-card title, but I just thought it would be something nice to think about, but since dp told me its already been discussed, I guess this case is over

I would quite like one, as right now we have 7 good matches that while good have no real importance followed by the main event title match. A lower card title would create some intigue amongst the midcard wrestlers while you wait for the main eventers to do their thing.

I rather like the idea that any girl on the roster, regardless of their station, could conceivably wind up in contention for the singles title with a few key wins. It gives me the impression of "if you are good enough to be in Shimmer, then you will get your chance at this belt with patience, perserverance, faith, heart, and skill, or by being a master of trickery who also happens to have great wrestling skill like Madison Eagles."
I think of it this way, not every Intercontinental Champion eventually became World Champion(Tito Santana & Roddy Piper, anyone?). Why give the illusion that someone is being groomed for future main event/world champion status by having them hold a mid-card title if that is not necessarily the plan or if that plan has to be scrapped for any number of reasons. Better to be gunning for only one prize in either division than to just get one as consolation for "being good, just not good enough to be world champion".
