Just out of curiosity, was that one guy there who wears the anti-woman shirt and stands in the back doing things like the tomahawk chop chant there or did he finally give up?

Just out of curiosity, was that one guy there who wears the anti-woman shirt and stands in the back doing things like the tomahawk chop chant there or did he finally give up? He came late on Sunday. He was much quieter this time but still shouted a couple of utterly inappropriate things at various points.

And now to be a little more positive, what a weekend! This company continues to out-do itself.
You had the conclusions of two great, long-term storys of Melissa vs Madison and Portia vs. Serena. They were great all weekend, but the respective end of their fueds were amazing! That spear off the table will be in every highlight reel. And Melissa..... FINALLY!!!!! FINALLY!!! That may go down as my favorite SHIMMER moment of all time. And let's not shortchange Madison, who was a true champion all weekend. Number 1 indeed!
Kana.... she lived up to the hype. And what a class act at the afterparty too.
I think SHIMMER is one of the few companies that can do an impromptu dance off successfully.
Courtney Rush has quickly become one of my favorite up-and-comers.
Nicole Matthews, dick move at the end there!
There's so much more that I could say, but I'd be typing forever to attempt to name them all. What a weekend!

Courtney Rush was really good during these tapings, wasn't she? Definitely became a fan of hers.

This, along with a bunch of similar E-mails I've gotten in the days since the shows (I'll be replying to each one soon) are what makes us keep on going. Through all of the headaches, sleepless nights, trying to coordinate rides for all of the wrestlers to and from the airport/hotel/venue/afterparty for three days, and obviously the huge expense involved in bringing so many wrestlers from around the world to Chicago... that enough of you enjoy the final product is a reassurance that all of the work that goes into these weekends is worth it. The whole crew wears themselves out physically to produce these shows (particularly the top stars who are in 4 matches within a span of less than 48 hours). Sometimes all that they have to show for it in the end is the appreciation of their efforts by the fans. Thanks for supporting what we do.

Ditto to both of Greg's posts (negative & positive). I could ramble for days how endlessly awesome these tapings were. (Which is probably what I'll end up doing in my blog seeing as I HAVE to write!) Words can't do them justice though, hopefully the DVDs will. It was electric being there in person.
DP, the refs, the backstage crew and of course the women themselves - thank you all SO VERY MUCH!

I have about 10 days every year that I really look forward to more than anything else.
SHIMMER days are always among them.
Thank you to Dave and everyone else involved in making these days some of the best weekends of the year.

Usually these complaints pop up here right away. Waiting three days for the first real complaint, not bad! Now, having sit by him all the time, he's there every time. And yes Paul, I hate you. You always say hi to me, and I'll say hi back, but you tick me off. And yes, I know you post here, and I'm going to discuss you anyway. If this gets deleted, fine. We get it. You love to chant. Some of the chants are good, and add to the show. But here's the thing. A lot of them do take away from the show for a variety of reasons. 1. A lot of the things you chant HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MATCH!!!!!! "Berwyn..... Boo!" nothing to do with the match! "Paul's Cheesecakes!" Nothing to do with wrestling at all! I'm not chanting DDS. Jennifer's not chanting Ring Belles. Steven's not chanting Diva Dirt. When we do, we're trying to add to the match in a positive manner, to support or jeer paticular wrestlers based on their actions. 2. A lot of your chants are not even really be shouted toward the ring. I see this as you just shouting things loudly for the sake of amusing yourself and your friends. Gah. 3. It's not even just chanting, but cheering for nearly all the heels is so irritating. Yes, we all cheer for paticular heels if we're fans of their work, or really dislike their opponent. But the way you do it, to cheer for the heels, with the ONLY reason being because they're heels. You're going out of your way to do the opposite of what the wrestlers want you to do. That's a pretty low thing to do, and is quite disrespectful. I know I shouldn't be negative, but since someone brought it up, I might as well get it out. Thank you for spending $60 toward a company we all love. Hopefully my complaining is overreacting, and you're not preventing other fans from not spending their money. Hey dude, I hear ya about the constant chants. How about this one I heard at an Indy event a few weeks ago: "Baby's mama!" clap clap clap clap clap clap. "baby's mama!" (Directed at a 30 something lady in the crowd with her 2 year old son). Nice, eh? Some chanting is ok but jeez when it's NONSTOP and gets robotic...and it's in a small place like the Eagles Club.... Those guys WERE cheering every single heel? (I got there kinda late, towards the end of Serena's match in the first taping on Sunday 10/2). Ha ha, I was cheering Sassy Steph when she came out during the last taping....and she was a heel tagging with another girl. She saw me cheering her and she turned around and said something along the lines of.."I don't know why you're cheering me," ha ha ha ha. I'll say this with class...she looked great.

If I could only attend one company's shows for the rest of time, it would be SHIMMER. Even further, I rarely watch DVDs, so there's no reason for me to really buy them, and yet I own 30+ SHIMMER DVDs, and I'll continue to buy each one that comes out.

particularly the top stars who are in 4 matches within a span of less than 48 hours That's why Shimmer is the company that makes dreams come true. For example, along with KANA vs Sara Del Rey and KANA vs Cheerleader Melissa, we also get KANA vs Mia Yim and KANA vs LuFisto.
