I can live with a slight increase to GA tickets. I'm just a little uneasy on further reduction of the roster. Who gets cut and who doesn't... an inenviable task to be certain.

I would imagine the most expensive undercard flights are the ones from Australia and Japan. So Dave can tell us on commentary that Skater was cut for her win-loss record? Then there's the wrestlers flown in from Canada and Texas. I think for the most part everyone else travels by land. Wasn't LuFisto cut last time as a cost measure? Her presence was truly missed. I don't think anyone would really be happy seeing the roster reduced like this.

Absolutely no problem with a ticket price increase. If you're consistently turning people away or coming close to it, they're probably underpriced anyhow.
As far as talent cutting is concerned, I wouldn't mind that either. I won't name names because I don't think that's my place, but I can think of two or three people off the top of my head who, though talented in some regards, have been around for a while and haven't developed much, meaning they probably wouldn't be missed if left home for a set of tapings.

$30 for GA is still a great deal.
prydonianrenegade is right about the intermission, though. On Sunday I just gave up trying to get through the pack to the merch tables. But I'd rather be a bit aggravated with a crowd than have wrestlers left out. And the intermission was the only time it felt uncomfortably crowded to me. The rest of the time it was fine.
Maybe the Fall 2011 tapings will be in a different venue? Then we'll start talking about the "Eagles Club era" and the new venue era.

Wish I could be thre to buy a ticket to support the SHIMMER cause but I'll be there next summer and I'd buy even a double price ticket since it's worth it
Bring in Cat Power, LuFisto and Veronika Vice from Canada and I'll be truly happy

I'd be in favor of a ticket price bump.

stupid eagles club. my opinion is raise the prices. 70 for front, 35 for 2nd and maybe 20 or 25 for the rest. or do something like higher GA prices if bought at the door day of show as opposed to pre-buy? i think whatever can be done to NOT lose talent or show lengths should be done. for the most part shim-fans are loyal and realize the bargain in prices considering its for approximately 6 hours of wrestling plus half hour or so of mingling. you lose more talent, its gonna affect attendance whether you raise prices or not.

I say make the eagles club for if you want to do a SHIMMER spinoff product that's SHIMMER with a little more of a fun aspect to it ala wrestlicious but not as over the top and no sexually offensive commentary.

I know for certain in the early years that most, if not all, of the talent that lives in the province of Ontario would drive to Chicago. Granted, that's like an 18 hour drive. That fact notwithstanding, Montreal is fairly close to the eastern border of Ontario (just a little over 2 hours due East from Ottawa, where Portia lives), so driving from Montreal (provided you have others in the car to share the fuel expense) is entirely feasible. I hope that flights from the Southern US aren't terribly costly. Most of my recent favorites come from there. Leva, in particular.

Get somewhere the same but bigger and with a slightly higher roof. Not too big as you would loose the imtimacy. Bribable beauracrats are also good to know.

I've never purchased a GA ticket, but I don't see anything wrong adding another $5 or so to the price. For the amount & quality wrestling you will see, the chance to mingle with the wrestlers during intermission and at the after party, it's still a great deal.

There's a slight issue with finding a new venue as it seems Shimmer has a pretty good thing going with 39Ten, so having the further challenge of finding a good afterparty setting if you change the venue is presented. People might say the afterparty is expendable, but let's be honest, it's a fairly significant part of the fun of attending the live shows.

I wish I got to experience 39Ten, I have to settle with the Michael Anthony's afterparty that really meant something because of timing. I don't need to pull a michael cole on this...

I'd hate to see the amount of talent on the shows get cut, one of my fav things about the 29-32 DVDs was the great amount of matches and wrestlers and seemingly the same for 33-36, plus I love a lot of the undercard.
