I imagine you're pretty lethal with a '90s poster, Freaky. An '80s poster, probably not but a '90s one and you'd be a safety threat to other passengers.
Is 26th March not here yet? Can't you hurry it up, DP!

My old strategy when bringing posters back from shows when flying was to bring a garment bag, which folds in half and fastens at the bottom, thus trapping whatever is in the fold. Perfect size to fold around a show poster.
My guess is the cardboard is too sturdy to be able to roll it into a mailing tube, but I'll investigate when they arrive. Most likely the only reasonable method for anyone to get one is to pick it up in person at the shows.

Needs to get warmer so the snow will melt, even though considering the amount of snow that has fallen in the Midwest this winter, it'll quite likely still be a slushy mess come Shimmer time. Always pray for good weather on Shimmer weekends.

I hope that the SHIMMER-ized posters keep with the example's format of listing really obscure accomplishments for all of the wrestlers.
You know, "APW Gym Wars Veteran" Cheerleader Melissa or something like that.

Ya can tell when Shim's getting closely when I start having stupid wrestling dreams. The one last night was I was standing in an alley when wearing a Barry Windham shirt (never owned one in my life) when Serena Deeb approaced. I asked if she was gonna be in Berwyn and she said "Yeah, if Dave can afford me." and highfived me. The scary part was her hair had grown back....into a Barbara Mandrell perm.

Yay for Ariel being announced, really hope that Athena is on too, and also that Mia Svennson and Mena Libra are on Sparkle at the least.
Edit: Oh and Freaky, I managed to get a WWE chair back from the Royal Rumble, so I'm sure you can manage a poster somehow!

Yeah, I brought a WMXX chair back as a second piece of luggage, when such a thing was allowed at no extra charge. I'll ponder something. Maybe a trip to Office Max will be in order.

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES is proud to announce the addition of three of the top female competitors from Texas to next month's tapings! "The Wrestling Goddess" Athena, Rachel Summerlyn, and Jessica James will be a part of the SHIMMER Volumes 37-40 tapings, which will take place on Saturday & Sunday, March 26th & 27th, 2011 at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago! Visit www.shimmerwrestling.com/ to secure your seats for the events right now. One of the three Texans who have made their way to SHIMMER via Anarchy Championship Wrestling, "The Wrestling Goddess" Athena made her SHIMMER debut on Volume 33 of the DVD series, and immediately made an impression on the fans in attendance with her combination of athleticism and attitude. One of the most promising newcomers to the women's wrestling scene, Athena looks to solidify her spot on the SHIMMER roster next month. With Rachel Summerlyn finally putting her violent rivalry with former mentor Daffney behind her, she and partner Jessica James have a clear focus on the tag team ranks. Rachel & Jessica's Excellent Tag Team has quickly become one of the most popular duos not only in SHIMMER tag team competition, but in ACW (both in Texas and the St. Louis area) as well. The tandem from "The International House of PAINcakes" has their work cut out for them on Vols. 37-40 next month, as the SHIMMER tag team division will see several new additions, including Hiroyo Matsumoto & Misaki Ohata and Saraya & Britani Knight. Plus existing tag combinations such as Nikki Roxx & Ariel, Daizee Haze & Tomoka Nakagawa, and SHIMMER Tag Team Champions The Canadian Ninjas will be in action that weekend. Visit www.anarchychampionshipwrestling.com/ for more on our friends at ACW. Rachel, Jessica, and Athena join previously announced talents SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles, SHIMMER Tag Team Champions The Canadian Ninjas, "Your Soul's Tormentor" MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa, Daizee Haze, "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey, "The Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez, Serena Deeb, Saraya Knight, Britani Knight, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Misaki Ohata, Ayumi Kurihara, Tomoka Nakagawa, Nikki Roxx, Ariel, and Allison Danger as those confirmed thus far for participation in the March 26th & 27th events. This brings the talent lineup to 21 total women athletes officially announced for the shows! Front row seating is already SOLD OUT for both days. General admission seating is still available at www.shimmerwrestling.com/ using PayPal. You may also purchase tickets by mail order. E-mail dave_prazak@yahoo.com for mail order instructions. Mark your calendars! SHIMMER is back at the Eagles Club in Berwyn on March 26th & 27th!
