Well, Hair vs Hair/Hair vs Mask/Mask vs Mask should be the blow-off to a major feud (Chigusa Nagayo vs Dump Matsumoto, Manami Toyota vs Toshiyo Yamada). I could see it as, say, the final match of the Portia Perez/Allison Danger feud, but not something like Jessie McKay/Kelly Skater at this point. I know this was an post from Nov, but some day hair vs hair would be cool to see in Shimmer. From a US standpoint, yeah it needs to be a major blowoff. But I digresss, from a Japanese POV, hair vs hair for those matches listed, WAS NOT a blowoff in either case. Nagayo-Dump, BOTH hair vs hair matches (yes, two) came during the middle of their feud, which didnt end until almost a year later when Dump retired. And Toyota-Yamada was NEVER a feud, just a rivalry. They were tag team partners when that match occured, although they had yet to win their first WWWA tag title yet.

I don't really know if there's a classic, proper reason to lead into a hair match (in the way that a cage match should be to stop someone running away or their friends interfering) but the only thing I could think of right now would be Melissa pinned ME in the Shimvivor match. You would think this would improve her chances of another title shot but if she loses that one and Eagles defends it a few more times, Melissa then offers a do-or-die situation where she'll never challenge ME again and to get a third and final shot, she puts her hair on the line.

I don't really know if there's a classic, proper reason to lead into a hair match Usually the hair is just put up as part of a wager, similar to a title, somebody's career, or a valet. Bonus points if the person making the wager is a narcissistic heel who has been goaded into putting his/her hair up by a babyface.

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES is proud to announce the United States debuts of two of the top female professional wrestlers from the United Kingdom, Sweet Saraya & Britani Knight! The Knight Dynasty will be a part of the SHIMMER Volumes 37-40 tapings on Saturday & Sunday, March 26th & 27th, 2011 at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL. This mother and daughter duo comes to us from UK-based promotions Pro-Wrestling: EVE and World Association of Wrestling. Saraya and Britani have made it known to SHIMMER management that they have their focus on the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship, citing the unique family bond that no other team on the SHIMMER roster can boast of. Bio information courtesy of www.evewrestling.com/SARAYA KNIGHTHome: Norwich, England Height: 5 ft 7 ins Weight: 126 lbs. Years Pro: 19 Signature moves: Super-Plex Samoan Drop Face-Buster Sit-Out Powerbomb Muscle Stretch Rope-Assist DDT A chance meeting with noted pro-wrestler "Rowdy" Ricky Knight in the summer of 1990 changed the life of a young holiday camp chef forever. Soon she became Sweet Saraya and became a star. Saraya has carved out a career as the most respected female veteran in the UK. After having her career almost ended and her kneecap severed from her leg in 2007, Saraya amazed doctors and fans alike by returning to the ring a mere six months later and having what can only be termed as a career renaissance. BRITANI KNIGHTHome: Norwich, England Height: 5 ft 8 ins Weight: 120 lbs. Years Pro: 5 Signature moves: Knight Light (Fisherman's Brain Buster) Knight-Rider (Yoshi-Tonic) Stan Lane (side kick) Tarantula (illegal submission hold) Debuting in 2005 as a product of the WAW Academy and specifically her brother Zak Zodiak, Britani Knight made her name originally as one half of the the Norfolk Dolls tag team. With the retirement of her partner, Britani was thrust into singles competition, where she has thrived ever since. In 2009, the pieces all fell into place and the youngest member of the Knight Dynasty became a bona fide star. Internationally travelled, prodigiously talented and still eager to learn, the future is bright for Britani Knight. Visit www.evewrestling.com/ for more information on Pro-Wrestling: EVE. Visit www.wawuk.com/ for more information on WAW. I don't know much about the Knights (aside what I've read on these forums over the years) and I've not really seen many pictures of them before now, and my first reaction is this:
Damn, it's not often that you see a mother-daughter combo where the mother has better abs. Kudos to Saraya on that.

*bows before THE Prazak*
I hope Danger and Melissa each get singles with Saraya more than anything. Saraya's always been the western hokuto in terms of selling her ass off but still looking like a total badass. Danger's been something similar for me too, plus the matrons of both companies clashing would be awesome. Saraya also has history with Melissa and mosdef unfinished bidness.
Saraya also has history with Misaki Ohata, so a 3S vs Knight Dynasty match would be great.

Britani and Saraya are coming to Shimmer? By Jingo, that's caught me off guard. That's totally out of left field, you'll be telling me Mariko Yoshida's booked or someone totally crazy like that.
