It looks like we're sold out of front row for both days. In case anyone doesn't come through with payment for the tickets they requested, those tickets will be back up for grabs. Please either PM me or E-mail me at dave_prazak@yahoo.com if you are interested in being put on the "waiting list" for front row tickets, in case any of them open back up again.

Going well so far. We're at about 100 tickets sold for each day so far, out of the 175 we can sell. Not bad for the first 24 hours they've been available.

I'm going to throw a really early prediction of Serena + A.N.Other picking up the tag titles (can't think of a partner at the minute). I'm guessing that since the Ninjas have been established enough - both in tag and singles matches - that it is going to take some kind of big named wrestlers to get the belts of them.

Having been at AAW last night, it was kinda nice for the place to not be so crowded near the merchandise table. Of course, part of it was the new seating area (or at least my first time noticing it) elevated on the stage next to the production area. Yeah it sucks revenue wise, but it was nice to walk around a bit.

The stage seating is one way to add 15 more tickets (we were able to fit 15 chairs on the half of the stage nearest the stairs to the kitchen). The fire code rule is 175 chairs on the main floor. Stage doesn't count. So 190 is what we're looking at for maximum capacity right now. We had to turn about 35 people away at the door looking to buy tickets last night once we hit 190.
The Eagles Club owner is a former Chicago cop and is trying to set up a meeting with the mayor of Berwyn to discuss the situation. Not only from the wrestling promotion's point of view, but from the Eagles' point of view, they're also losing money on the deal because they make less off the bar as a result of fewer patrons being permitted in the building.
I would kill to even have the capacity raised by 25 more tickets so that we could put 200 on the main floor (in terms of how crammed in people would be, that's still 50 fewer people than how packed it was when we used to sell the place out at 250 for SHIMMER tapings). For reference, at Volumes 9 & 10 we had about 280 in there, back when the capacity for banquets in the hall was set at 300.

So are you selling stage seating? Stage seating at the Congress for DGUSA is some of the best seating in the house in my opinion. Will you sell these seats for more?

Haven't decided if we will for SHIMMER. It really limited the space to use for production last night (we had to move the sound guy to the back, and could only fit the hard cam on the stage next to the seats).

Could see it interfering with the production, people getting up and down, loudness, etc. If you sell stage seating, I think you could charge more, being at eye level with the ring is pretty cool.

They would also be the farthest seats away from the ring though. I'd rather just be able to put 200 on the floor.

Saw Dave post on Twitter yesterday that tickets are apparently going fast. Just how fast are they going exactly?

Just over 50 tickets left for Saturday before it's sold out. A bit more for Sunday. I don't see either day selling out immediately, but obviously this is going to be an instance where there won't be tickets available at the last minute like there have been the past several tapings. If you want to come, get 'em in advance, kids...
