While on the subject of Hamada, did anybody else get the impression that she is showing signs of becoming our new LuFisto, in that she hails from "Tokyo, Mexico" and in a couple of the matches seemed to be displaying the silly antics that The Super Hardcore Anime is well known for? New LuFisto? Don't ever speak of replacing her. We need to see LuFisto vs. Hamada in 2011.

I was merely suggesting that Hamada seemed to me to be coming off as something of a "surrogate LuFisto" in the absence of the genuine article. ;D

Hamada was a riot this weekend. Her photo-bombing that spot during the Shim-vivor Series was priceless. That was freakin' sweet.

Hamada was a riot this weekend. Her photo-bombing that spot during the Shim-vivor Series was priceless. LOVED Hamada this weekend. I've always loved her before, but it was awesome to see a different side to her this past weekend that we don't normally see when she wrestles. She was hilarious.

That'd seriously be the most LOL match in Shimmer History. I also really lol'd hard when Ayako and Kurihara got pissed at Melissa for that Domino DDT and started smacking her and she was like I'M SORRY I'M SORRY ;D But she and Lufisto would be such a great team because they're sorta sharing a similar gimmick. They start out with all the Lulz with Lufisto being the goofy anime obsessed girl and Ayako being the goofy foreign girl who still doesn't speak that much english but knows how to at least get out the gist of what she means, but as soon as the gauntlets are thrown down, you're getting your teeth kicked the **** in.

I put this question on Twitter, but I may as well post it here on the board as well. For those who were there live this past weekend, which were your top 3 favorite matches (or top 5 if you wish to further rank them)?

I answered on Twitter, but doing it here means being able to include the RATE TANK in my answers:
1. Eagles/McKay: Emotional, exciting, and the hottest sustained crowd of the weekend. 2. Shimvivor Series: Eight of the best workers, regardless of gender, in a single match. Ridiculous crowd heat at points, and the domino DDT. 3. Del Rey/McKay/Hamada: Welcome to the main event Jessie McKay! 4. Kong/Skater: The Rate Tank once again bites off way more than she can chew. And every second of it is wonderful to watch. 5. Eagles/Melissa: As one of the few people in the room who wanted to see the belt stay on Eagles, I was able to enjoy not only the excellent match, but the outcome as well.

1. Elimination Match - Just ridiculously fun in every sense of the word, and left us with a big plot twist at the end leaving for many questions about what will happen at the next taping. The crowd was on fire, we got plenty of nostalgia moments, and great spots. 2. Eagles/Melissa - Everything about this was amazing. They built off of the short little build up of the feud, and on past matches Eagles has had, and added some great BITCH RAGE to make it even sweeter. 3. Ayumi/Melissa - While this isn't probably as good of a match as Madison/Mckay, I enjoyed it a little more. Just watching Melissa turn the HATE and BEAR MAULING to 11 was soooo fantastic. Ended a little too abruptly which probably hurt the match itself, but didn't make it any less enjoyable. 4. Madison/Mckay - Just amazing, Madison is a super worker and Mckay is a super junior. Everything was amazing, and the counters were incredible. This was probably the best worked match in Shimmer history imo. 5. Mckay/Matthews - Going in I was just thinking "Their last match was just alright, and now we're going through it again?" but boy was I wrong, this was absolutely incredible. Matthews is sorta becoming my Mini-Melissa. She's just mauled Jessie and then Jessie came back with some amazing offense.
Honerable mention to Ohata/Mercedes for bring Batchi Batchi style to Shimmer, and Ohata's fiery comeback after Mercedes beat the crap out of her.

This is in no order:
J-Mac vs. Madison - I knew this was going to be a good match, just because of how they've been working together in Australia, but this was absolutely fantastic. LOVED the finish. SHIM-Vivor Series! - This was just awesome. It really shows that while putting on great, quality wrestling, these women know how to have fun as well. I loved how they were feeding off the energy of the crowd. Nakagawa vs. Melissa - Two of my favorites on the roster. What more could I ask for?
Honorable mentions: Hamada vs. Nakagawa, Ayumi vs. Madison Eagles, Melissa vs. Madison Eagles.

My answers are on Page 65.
And I also loved how much personality Hamada was showing this weekend. She was already amazing to watch but now that she's showing a bit of a silly streak, she's just that much more awesome.

Wow, decisions, decisions.
In no particular order, my top matches would probably have to be SHIMvivor Series, Melissa vs. Madison, Melissa vs. Nakagawa, Jessie McKay vs. Madison, and Hamada vs. Jessie vs. Sara.
