The only way they'd do a November tappings is if they do only 2 tappinga and it's in late November which is risky for weather. Maybe 2011 we'll see tappings in late March/early April, tappings in midd summer and finally some in later october and early november. Dave said he really wants to extend the number to 12.

Why does everyone mindlessly use the phrase "sole survivors"? Two people can't solely survive, the word means doing it on your own, solo :s Direct quote from the twitter updates. They were included in the everyone. Just because someone else misuses something, doesn't mean you have to. Being a sole survivor would mean you fought off some or all of the team on your own, as a sole member, solo. It's a prestigious thing, different to simply winning an elimination match.

Hey, I'm not guilty of misusing the term! I was just pointing out that the two sources where the results were coming from both used it so that's where it started. And simply saying "survivors" doesn't quite have the same effect. Is dual survivors a thing? Anyway, can't wait to see the match.

Star of Stars report:
This is one guy's opinion of who had the most impressive showngs of the Sunday tapings. I admit I think yesterday's matches were better and I also admit that some of the matches are getting blurred together. Yet, I shall do my best:
5) Madison Eagles-Great, great match against Jessie McKay. During the course of the weekend, won three title defenses clean taking her quickly from the accusation of being a paper champ to a champ nobody can deny. But this is for Sunday only. Why do I put Madison here over Jessie? Madison told the loud, ridiculous guy to be quiet.
4) Portia Perez--knocked out Serena Deeb. I didn't see it coming. besides taht, she's quite a heel.
3) Rachel Summerlyn-In the April tapings, Summerlyn the face was drawing what is commonly known as X-Pac Heat. Today, she got to be on the receiving end of some awful-looking finger submission holds and wrestled in a match against Daffney in which the fans were really into it...and cheering Rachel...pretty loud. I don't know what she did, but she did it right.
2) Leva Bates--crazy-over with the fans. She really struck a chord with her comic book geek gimmik. Plus she's so darn adorable.
1) Daizee Haze--a great, great heel. From the sandwich attack on Ariel, to her comments about Eagles plucking peoples eyes out, to telling the referee that Tomoka was only tickling her opponent, Daizee's great. Hilarious heel while still putting on serious matches.

i think ur right , especially on the melissa part, the PERFECT time to make her champ was last April ... i just don't see her becoming champ ever now.... Everybody was clamoring for MsChif/Melissa for the strap, and instead Eagles is the champ in another ho-hum "Shocker!" title change, Melissa is equivalent to Tyler Black in ROH last year minus some schmozes (the "60 min draw that wasn't 60 min" "Cashing in the title shot to make a 3 way and Aries wins the ROH Title instead" "Final Battle 09 Debacle". I agree Melissa is losing her lustre quick. I'm going to respectfully disagree on this one. I like Cheerleader Melissa a lot and would love to see her as Shimmer Champion, but (in retrospect) the timing wasn't right in April. I remember how nearly everyone on this forum was either hoping for or predicting Melissa defeating MsChif for the title. Clearly, everyone had already come to terms with Melissa as champion in their own minds. We all thought about it, liked the idea, and then got used to the idea of Melissa being champion. Therefore, the excitement of Melissa being Shimmer champion would have worn off very quickly and we would soon be "finished" with Melissa being champion and begin talking about who she should lose the title to. But with Madison Eagles as champ, on the other hand, nobody saw this coming. The discussions on the forum revolved around what sort of heel-champ Eagles would be. We were all shocked and only now have we all really come to terms with Eagles as champion. I would still like to see Cheerleader Melissa as Shimmer champ one day, but April wasn't the time and neither is now. For her sake and for the sake of Shimmer, it's best that Eagles is champ.

Convoluted russo-esque logic.. "the fans all want it so don't give it to them." Right.

I think part of it with Melissa again stems back to there needing to be more tappings. Getting the big belt is one thing, but how long you hold it also comes into play. Having a short reign can really be a burden, I mean look and Kane, it truly was sad that an extremly over and loya company man only had a 24 hour run with the best prize you could get. You have no idea how big I marked when finally won it last July.
The point I'm making is that because Shimmer only does so many shows a year, a legit big time champion needs to hold the title a good number of volumes. In order for Madison Eagles to be bought as a memorable champion and a Main Eventer, she needs that title for decent ammount of time. If Dave had managed to get in 12 tappings this year, ther would be the possibility of Melissa still getting that belt before 2010 was over, but now we'll have to wait longer untill spring of 2011.
Put it simply, we need more tappings, then we could have more title defences (and more champions), maybe a third title added, and more story. I know some of you might dissagree, but that's what I think.

The 8 Woman Elimination Match was so incredibly awesome. Probably head and shoulders the match of the weekend, and that is saying something. There was just so much amazing stuff going on during it. Trust me, you want to see this match when it comes out.
