This is a really big deal to me to see the first ever one-on-one LuFisto vs. Sara Del Rey. They've wrestled in the same promotions as each other since 2003 and the past attempts to get this match to happen were unsuccessful. I have a lot of respect for LuFisto for still wanting to go through with it this time after her health scare. When she said here on the forum that she may be retiring at the end of the year I knew this could be her last match, but now I'm sure we'll probably never see this match happen again.
The crazy thing is that this is only a first round tournament match. In the second round or finals we may end up seeing LuFisto vs. Melissa, LuFisto vs. Mercedes, LuFisto vs. Portia, Sara vs. Melissa, Sara vs. Mercedes, Sara vs. Portia, Melissa vs. Mercedes, Melissa vs. Portia, Mercedes vs. Portia... a lot of SHIMMER dream matches/rematches.

Theme of FF III is now revealed!!! We now know who Daffney will be facing!!!Femmes Fatales management had shivers down their spines after hearing that Daffney suffered an injury in a match before a TNA event. Daffney gave us a call to tell us that she will be fully recovered to wrestle on your show on June 5th. Daffney is without any doubt the most dominant and most experienced Knockout, having the championship sliding out of her hands a couple of time in the last months. She’s coming to Montréal with a big fan base, but, she wants to take the occasion to be remembered. Her opponent at Femmes Fatales III will be none other than the popular Cherry Bomb. After giving a hard time to Sara Del Rey in September, she manages to get an important win over Mistress Belmont in February. It’s a golden opportunity for her and put her name in every wrestling fan across the world. That is our fourth bout in a list of very impressive list that is already announced. 4 matches are now announced : Sara Del Rey Vs. LuFisto Kacey Diamond Vs. Cheerleader Melissa Cat Power Vs. Mistress Belmont Daffney Vs. Cherry Bomb

Bad news, that brings good news.
It’s with sadness and regrets that we have to announce the absence of Mercedes Martinez for our June 5th show, due to professional reason. Mercedes is sad not to be in Montréal, but, not to worry she will be back again.
Femmes Fatales management found a replacement for the tournament to crown of first ever champion and this person is the one and only....I’m not going to tell!
We will keep the name as a secret until Challengemania on May 15th!!! What we can tell you is that she’s a world renowned wrestler that she is as known as Mercedes...or even more! So this means, try not to miss Challengemania on May 15th! (www.challengemania.com)
There are only 6 VIP tickets left for Femmes Fatales III. Hurry up, because after our secret wrestler will be announce, it might be too late.

Unless I missed your irony, I think she meant she's as well known as Mercedes Martinez is.
On a side note: ChallengeMania?

ChallengeMania is nCw biggest show of the year and it's next Saturday, May 15th.
FF match on May 15th was supposed to be Anna Minoushka Vs. LuFisto, but LuFisto will be back on the ring on June 5th only...
Now it is a tag match as Kalamity and Anna Minoushka will face Mary Lee Rose & Sweet Cherrie.

I got my ticket to this in the mail. The date says "05/06/10." I hope this won't be a problem. I know countries that use the metric system have been known to use DD/MM/YY rather than MM/DD/YY.

I don't think it's to do with the metric system, the Japanese use the metric system and they go YY-MM-DD and the UK barely uses the metric system and we're DD-MM-YY. It just makes more sense, going up or down in unit size.
As far as I'm aware there wasn't a NCW FF show last week so you should be fine.
