Just wondering, What is considered as Hamada's best match ( if there are many, as i would expect , pick the one you think is the best ) There is probably a singles match from ARSION that tops this, but I'll go with the match she had with Fabi Apache in AAA a few years ago. That match was tons of fun. Tag-wise, Ayako & AKINO vs. the LCO in ARSION is legendary, if for the subsequent visuals alone.

Best singles match? Probably against Momoe or Aja.
Best Tag? LCO vs HamAKINO or D-Fix vs Hamada/Satomura
Was talking with a friend and we kinda came to the conclusion that the LCO invasion of ARSION angle was probably inspired by the Choshu/Yatsu vs Tenryu/Jumbo feud. I mean if you look at them, the LCO invasion was the same just reversed. Chosu/Yatsu invaded All Japan with their new style and the crowd loved it and they were converting other wrestlers to that style. Tenryu/Jumbo wouldn't stand for it so they tried to expel them from All Japan. In the LCO angle, ARSION decided to break away from the old AJW style and create their own style, but LCO invaded after being insulted by HamAKINO and so they came with the old AJW style despite nobody wanting them there.
Also with both, despite the outcome of both feuds, the invader's style ended up taking over, with All Japan because the style was just too popular to not do, and with ARSION because LCO were such big draws that Rossy Ogawa kept them around and their style basically took over ARSION.

Hamada is great and her awesome work in Shimmer will only gain her more respect and more fans. Loved the epic encounter with Del Rey on Vol 28. I hope Hamada continues to work in Shimmer because she is not being used to her full potential in TNA. She deserves all the exposure she can get.

I've been a fan of Ayako Hamada since the beginning of her career and would get all of the ARSION tapes I could get my hands on...eventually GAEA videos as well.
If someone would've told me back then that I would see her wrestle live as well as meet her in person I would have said that they were crazy!
Truly one of the BEST wrestlers EVER!!!
Thank you SHIMMER!!!

Ayako's first booking back in japan since joining TNA has been announced:
WAVE "VIRGIN" October 3, 2010 Korakuen Hall
1. Mima Shimoda & Manami Toyota vs Money Mark Trannies 2. Policewoman vs Kana 3. Moeka Haruhi vs Hiren 4. Kayoko Haruyama vs Misaki Ohata 5. Tsubasa Kuragaki vs Ryo Mizunami 6. Sakura Hirota & Kikutaro vs Toshie Uematsu & Ran Yu-Yu 7. GAMI & Abdullah the Butcher vs Aja Kong & NOSAWA Rongai 8. Yumi Ohka, Ayumi Kurihara, & Sawako Shimono vs Yoshiko Tamura, Meiko Satomura, & Ayako Hamada
I'm kinda sad that they didn't just have Sawako face Policewoman and give us Kana in that main event tag. Maybe they didn't want to have Ayako give her the Fuka treatment or something.

Sakura Hirota in Shimmer would be amazing! Joshi's queen of comedy. Uematsu and Ran Yu-Yu as a tag team would also be fun. A Meiko Satomura, Ayako Hamada tag team would be epic. But of any of them I think Hirota because she is so unique and special. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPPhiUpuM7E (Sakura in a match including Hamada) www.youtube.com/watch?v=90pwpB2gbGo& (Great comedy match)

A lot of her best comedy centered around puro in jokes and Japanese style humor, which probably won't translate as well as straight up main event Joshi Puro.

My top 5 to come would be something like Emi, Yoneyama, Satomura, Kimura, & Kana. Sadly, from what I learned talking to one of the ringstars guys, JWP doesn't like working with outsiders so it's doubtful they'd do some with Shimmer & Kana has too much backstage heat and none of the girls want her to go. Kimura's former Ibuki so she's a huge possibility, Satomura says she wants to work in America so she'd be good, and Emi's just full of win and has nothing tying her down. The Shirais will be in Mexico, but only for a few months, so they'd have to go with the Ringstars crew also if they went. Lin Byron'd be awesome too.

Did you find out what she's up to in March...? Far be it from me to spoil the line up for SHIMMER before it's announced, so I'll just say:
