Isn't cellophane what Tony Atlas was looking for the climatic scene of MTV's True Life: I'm a Professional Wrestler? On second thought; isn't cellophane is too thin to be what dvds are wrapped in? Or am I thinking of saran wrap? Wasn't Tony looking for saran wrap?

He was looking for a cell phone, I believe to make some calls to try to save his indy show after the guy who was providing him with a license backed out. He just pronounced it oddly (more like "cella phone") and making fun of his pronunciation was a short-lived internet meme thereafter.

I was about to say I don't remember Atlas frantically searching a grocery store in that episode. "Cell-ya foane" is how you say "cellular phone" in blaccent. Everyone in my family does it.

Is there any thread on the board where anyone sells extras they might have of some of the merch in this thread or otherwise? I'm not talking about the Shimmer DVDs or anything that I could easily buy direct.
Also it seems at one point there was a listing of individual official sites for some of the wrestlers where they might sell merch direct. I haven't seen the list of links anywhere though. If anyone has info on this, I'm still looking to get in touch with a few past and current roster members about buying merch.
Thanks!

The links I could use that I have yet to find are for:
Current: Jessica James Cherry Bomb
Inactive/Alumni: Rayna Von Tosh Krissy Vaine Tiana Ringer Alicia Danyah Jetta ... not sure if she still uses myspace (that's all I found) Kimberly Kash Rebecca Knox Christie Ricci ... found a site, may not be updated
There are some others who just don't have merch online.

Looking for some kind of Best of DVD from RVT or Cherry Bomb? Good luck with that.

Oh, no. Mainly signed 8x10s, but depending on who it is, certain DVDs and shirts. ... Pretty sure Sarah Stock doesn't sell anything direct online and same with Cheerleader Melissa at the moment. ... Otherwise, out of what I've seen on the boards, some of the custom IHWC / MHWC DVDs and shirts and a Canadian Ninjas shirt are what I'm mainly looking for.

As popular as Cheerleader Melissa is, she never really has new merchandise. She still sells the same ChickFight 8x10s in person she did the very first time I went to SHIMMER. Never had a t-shirt or anything. Kind of surprising.

When I first went to Melissa's web site, there were two photos up for sale. But it looked like the site hadn't been updated in a long time. ... Couldn't get any response no matter which site I tried to reach her through ... and then the site was updated, minus the two photos. ... So I'm trying to find a photo to send her (supposedly she signs through the mail -- not sure if that's still true). But no one seems to have the Alissa Flash 8x10 promo or anything else!
I've had a lot of luck with merch from a number of others so far though.

Although, once they've been paid for, I'm sure it's all the same to Prazak... And, if you get that joke... Congratulations, you're old! Thanks for your support. You could still advertise cigarettes on TV and in magazines when that ad campaign was going on. Death Rey and Cheerleader Melissa would have been in elementary school. They still had game shows on in the morning during the week on CBS and NBC. Cell phones were the size of bricks. and the most shocking thing of all, The Chicago Cubs had a pretty good season during that time as well.

Death Rey and Cheerleader Melissa would have been in elementary school. Add me to that list. I remember always feeling amused by those commercials when I was a kid, though, in retrospect, I really didn't understand what they were talking about. Then, many years later, I wound up studying the litigation between members of the Gallo family that owned the Bartles & James brand while I was in school. I hadn't thought about the commercial for many years prior to that, and hearing the name again was a weird bit of nostalgia.

What a weird thread this has become, by the way.
