I take "Meh" to denote apathy or "It was alright... I suppose." That's how I use it anyway. This is what I was trying to say. Sucks when you try to explain things in your second language. |

Yes Stevie's explanations of "meh" and "eh" are correct. I mainly use "meh" as "I don't care" or "not fussed".
Back to the pics I love the extreme close-up of Jessie. She's my favourite girlfriend. Also call me patriotic but for some reason the Union Jack attire makes Lacey even more attractive for some reason.

"eh" also means something akin to "you know/isn't it?" like the Scots, or more famously Canadians say.

Doesn't Eh mean What? What? I said, doesn't Eh mean What? "Eh?" means "What?" if it's standing alone or is stuck on the end of a sentence. If you put it on the front of the sentence, it's the functional equivalent of "Eh." "Meh" has been more popular than "Eh" from what I've seen recently, though. |

"Meh" was even featured on the Simpsons a good few years ago when Bart and Lisa were watching TV for hours and Marge asks if they want to go outside and play. They both say "meh" and when Marge asks them again Lisa replies "We said 'meh', 'M' - 'E' - 'H' - meh".
