I don't think Portia would be able to use that name. Then again Daffney was able to keep hers. Someone more in the know needs to explain this. Anyways I stumbled upon this Portia Perez isn't her real name. They're "able to keep their names," as long as they sign over the rights to their name to TNA. Daffney made the decision to give them ownership of the name Daffney. The others didn't. I hope she at least gets a TNA t-shirt made out of the deal. I'd buy one!

have a little question According to her altercation with Rhaka Khan i heard the first version Roxxy was suspended for two months in TNA and she asked for a release, then i heard another version by her mouth she was released because the bookers didn't have anything for her What do we remain she was released because she asked or because TNA didn't have anything for her? I consider this release has been a real injustice for a woman wrestler who had devoted her body to TNA and that's the way she was paid because of Rhaka Khan Probably WWE sign her and she will have a career similar to Gail Kim with no pity nor glory

Yes TNA shouldn't have released her that was a very dumb move. Who knows perhaps they will hire her again someday. A hardcore feud with her an Daffney would be great as the Wilde-Daff feud will always end with Daffney taking the big bumps.
I don't think the WWE will sign her, at least not until her hair has grown back. The problem is that it isn't quite the same without her "Nikki...... ROXX" name.

I'm really hoping we see some more Shimmer gals follow suit by joining in TNA.
Jennifer Blake, in my opinion, would be a perfect fit for the division, but I see her staying in Shimmer for awhile, getting her name out there, getting her skills seasoned, and I wouldn't be suprised to see her in TNA.
Also, in regards to the Daffney-Wilde feud, I'm digging it so far, and I think it increased the credibility of both girls in the process of the feud. However, I don't think it's necissarily fair for Taylor to get most credit by winning the majority of the matches. Granted she's one of my favorite wrestlers, I just think it would be nice if TNA would "even the playing field". Have Taylor take a few bumps. Granted, that is probably far from happening, but it would be nice to see.
And as for Melissa & Sarah joining TNA? I think that is a huge stick of dynamite for the company. TNA has been accused of underusing Melissa (which they did), and I think that since they are going a extremely different direction then the divas, (hardcore matches, 2 female matches on a PPV card, just overall more risky matches etc). I think TNA is doing a tremendous job in picking talent. I'm not really feeling Madison, seeing as she's being treated as a third wheel, but hopefully, that can change soon.
Sorry for the wall o' text. Just kinda wanted to add to the discussion.

It's good that Melissa will finally be able to wrestle as herself....although that name leaves a LOT to be desired.
Still, I will always have a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to TNA for how they treated Rain. OK, the name wasn't too bad but they should have let her wrestle and be herself. Catfights with Tracy Brooks is not wrestling. I have full confidence that if Payton Banks would have joined the KO division after splitting with Robert Roode....she would be one of the most over women in the company right now. Boo-urns TNA!

The biggest problem facing them booking-wise is cramming that much talent into whatever amount of time is allotted for them. Though, I'm sure no one is expecting two 15-minute women's matches on ever iMPACT! just because they have the talent on board to pull it off. There is a fine line between what some might consider to be proper use of or wasting that kind of talent.

That's just the way it is, especially nowadays. They're trying to use everybody for obvious reasons and nowadays if they didn't the fan's attention spans wouldn't wait it out.

You know, if TNA and WWE in general just cut down on the talking, trim down the promos - more time can be given to wrestling (for men and women).

The matches would be less effective without all the talking. Sure they can still have great matches but what's the point if the fans aren't emotionally vested? Having said that it's not like either company does a great job at that right now.

I like the talking and the promos are usually very good. However if they cut out all the times Sting said "Kevin" this week we could have had five minutes more time.....
