You could justify Banks by saying it was a connection, albeit a loose one, to Robert Roode's money/Wall Street gimmick. There have been some ridiculous whoppers of names though. Anyhow, at least TNA had the sense to give Stock a vignette to hype her début rather than just throwing her out there some week. The match will Melissa should be great, even if it is just a fraction as good as their SHIMMER bouts. Hopefully TNA won't let Melissa be some sort of flash in the pan. A guy explained an interesting theory to me: that Melissa was under the bhurka because TNA was saving her dynamite so she wouldn't flounder and now with Sarah, Tara and presumably Ayako coming in- it's just the right time to change the focus of the knockouts.

Now that Hernandez is out of Action for a while and Homicide is singles wrestler, maybe Vinnie Rue can go back to the Old Booker T & Midnight Storyline from WCW 1999 which culminated the break up of Harlem Heat, and Have Homicide w/ well lets say Mercedes Martinez and then turn Hernandez Heel sayin Homicide "Went soft" I'm stretchin here because I bet Vinnie Rue was like when Dutch and Jarrett were like "what do we do with her, LAX?" and Vinnie's like "Can I be honest with you? That's too simple we need her to have a character that can connect with the fans, why team her with Homicide? And I hate to say it, We got nothing for her" and then a year later, Russo says (after discovering a gimmick somewhere else on TV); "oh I got the perfect gimmick for her, She's gonna be a Matadora Gimmick, named "La Tora Loca"" *Cues up Price is Right Tuba* FAIL! That's one confusing post right there. Obviously I said this because it shows that Vinnie Rue is unoriginal, he'd probably rip off of anything can you guess what i was implying he was ripping off in my scenario with the Matadora gimmick?

Matadora gimmick? With the red cape and shinny outfits and weird hat? Come on man... "Booty Vulture" Mercedes Martinez can do much better then that. I do think it would be nice to have a real latina in TNA cause as much as I like Sarita she aint really latina... Close enough but no lol.
I would love to see a masked luchadora in TNA like Sexi Star from Triple A who would fit in wonderfuly in TNA. And I say this since I heard that TNA is looking to bring in some Luchadores to their roster like Guerreros De La Atlantida(Rey Bucanero, Atlantis, and Ultimo Guerrero). Believe me, I would totally mark out for that... And when I mean a masked luchadora I do not mean Nic Grimes... I had to go there.

Shelly Martinez?
El Matador? (Which was just a way to try to put Tito Santana above mid-card status. Didn't Work!!!)

I didn't know that, Cool!!! And Ayako Hamada is half-latina. Sorry other than the Mexican Luchadora's that I don't know anything about, I don't really know any Latina wrestlers other than Mercedes. So I guess it would be hard.

I don't know if I would like Mercedes in TNA or not. She's a good wrestler, but there's really no room on the roster at all for her at the moment.
About TNA getting some "latinas" for whatever reason, well one way to go about doing that would be to try and bring some in on loan for their next USA vs Mexcio vs. Japan etc tournaments they do every now and then.

She's still called Melissa. And is called "Future Legend". That's just fine by me.

Perez is a latina sounding name I don't think Portia would be able to use that name. Then again Daffney was able to keep hers. Someone more in the know needs to explain this. Anyways I stumbled upon this Portia Perez isn't her real name.

Daffney is still a big name from WCW.
Yeah "Tara" is half Puerto Rican from Bayamon, PR... I believe... And Ayako Hamada is half mexican, what a mix.

Anyways I stumbled upon this Portia Perez isn't her real name. They're "able to keep their names," as long as they sign over the rights to their name to TNA. Daffney made the decision to give them ownership of the name Daffney. The others didn't.

Interesting, this is probably because she has a backup name that she has used in a few places (unless she signed that away too).
