Two wins for Nicole in PoCo last night, first defeating Hellion, and then teaming with KC Spinelli to defeat Scotty Mac and Jamie Diaz in an impromptu tag team match. Tonight in Vancouver is the latest chapter in the Matthews/Spinelli rivalry, with Nicole's ECCW Women's Title on the line once again.

Nicole retained last night - Spinelli went for a moonsault, missed, and Matthews kicked her in the back of the head for the win.

On August 24th, Nicole cashes in a recent battle royale win to challenge El Phantasmo for the ECCW Title.

Right on! I thought the last Shimmer shows were break-out shows for Nicole - though I may have been uniquely dim in not knowing how truly great she is previous to those shows.

Nicole's releasing a new shirt with this on it, which will debut on Saturday at ECCW's sold out show at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Hopefully that shirt makes it to New Orleans and Berwyn.

So Nicole's a fan of The Clash then. Cool shirt.

From Nicole's Twitter "No wrestling for me in the next little while because of a knee injury. I'll keep everyone updated when the return will be."
Damn this sucks, Nicole isn't one of those people who are injury prone, in the number of years I've watched her, I can't recall her having any form of injury.

Bad timing - I hope Nicole takes the time she needs to heal and come back strong.

Nicole now holds two championships - the SHIMMER Championship, and the ECCW Championship that she won back from Bishop last night in front of 1000 people in Vancouver.

Its great how Nicole can be such a smarmy douche heel in Shimmer that you want to see Eagles rip her limb-from-limb and yet in ECCW she's extremely likeable and you want to root for her against people like Bishop. She's amazing in both roles and I sometimes forget how good she is as a babyface since she tears it up as a heel in Shimmer.
I have a feeling that Nicole won't be corrupted by the Shimmer belt like Eagles was because I don't think its possible for Nicole's ego to be any bigger than it already is. Maybe it'll have a reverse effect and the more she holds the belt the nicer she becomes and then the second she loses it she's back to her heel mindset that would laugh at a kid slipping on snow and intentionally throw an object at an elderly lady.

Seven title defences in the book, the five most recent ones as follows...
V3: Portia distracts the ref, Nicole hits Tomoka Nakagawa with a steel chair. V4: Allysin Kay steals the ring bell, and rings it at 2 when Heidi Lovelace has Nicole pinned. Confusion with the ref, Nicole sneaks up. V5: Relatively clean, Kay Lee Ray kicks out of the Vancouver Manoeuvre at 1, Nicole simply gives her another one. V6: Pins Jessicka Havok with her feet on the ropes. V7: Madison Eagles hits Hellbound on her, but Nicole's foot is on the ropes as Bryce Remsburg counts 3. Portia Perez appeals, Andy Long saw it, match restarts, quick Vancouver Manoeuvre gets it done.
So a fair bit of luck, but sometimes that's what champions need. Wonder who's next for her?

Fairly certain that was a one-off for Tomoka. Sure it wasn't cheap to bring her in.

If that's the case. Maybe Skater?
