Not really new just don't post here a lot. Name's Gary. I met Daizee Haze back in 2004 while she was working an NWA Wildside (it's now Anarchy) show. She and I (along with Matt Sydal (or Evan Bourne) and Delirious) struck up a bit of a friendship that involved cookies and random conversation after the show. Daizee tipped me off about Shimmer and I have since made an effort to keep up with the happenings even if I have not gotten all the DVDs yet. I do what I can to promote the ladies out of respect for them.
As for careerwise for me, I am involved in the film and video business. I write, direct, produce amongst other thigns. I have a website where some of my work samples are located.

I discovered Shimmer from my friend Travis who lives in the greater Chicago Area. I am a cartoonist and graphic designer. I am a wrestling fan going back 28 years.. This is a feat considering I come from a family that considers all pro wrestling a joke. I followed WWE until recently as I have become bored and tired by their repetitive women's division. You can consider me a WWE defector. What sealed the deal for me was getting to meet Sara Del Rey and Portia Perez in person last May. I ordered a DVD and I have been hooked ever since. I love quality womens wrestling without the embarassment of feeling I am watching it only for the T and A aspect . I respect and admire female athletes and love how pure athletic desire and skill overrides sexuality and cheesecake. I hope Shimmer stays around forever as it is truly a first class organization.

I've been on here for quite some time myself, but wrestling isn't all that new to me. I'm from Ohio and I learned about Shimmer last year in the summer. My brother has a DVD of WEW (Women's Extreme Wrestling) and I first learned about Mercedes Martinez. I pretty much fell in love with her and became a fan. I use to watch WWF with my brother when I was a little girl. He'd wake me up on Saturday mornings and go to the living room to watch it. We'd snuggle under a blanket on the couch and after it was over he'd push me to the floor and we'd wrestle each other. After he graduated from high school I didn't watch anymore. It was about July of 2003 when I started going to my brothers wrestling shows. He's a wrestler for the Miami Valley and has been in Unified Championship Wrestling along with Chris Hero, Dayton (now Dynamic) Championship Wrestling, Xtreme Wrestling Xperience, IPWA, and Xtreme Valley Wrestling. I now live with him and my nephew in a townhouse apartment. So when I'm off on a Saturday and he has wrestling, I go with him. My first "professional" wrestling show I've been to was Ring of Honor last November. My birthday is in September, but it was part of my birthday present last year. I got to meet Sara Del Rey. She was so sweet and really cool. I had made a poster for her of the American flag and I wrote her name in camouflage. She even autographed it for me including my Shimmer shirt. I was there again this past summer and I was really hoping to meet Daizee Haze. I was right by the ramp. I didn't get to have my autograph and picture taken with her, but I saw her in the back sitting down talking with someone. But I hope I get to go back this November and hopefully I'll get to meet her. I also have Ashley Lane's autograph, but then again I know Ashley and Nevaeh too. They are both from Ohio and that's how I met them. So now my dream is to be a future wrestler and work as hard as any other girl in the great Shimmer promotion. I'm hoping to get there someday.

Well... been following ROH since the start of the year and shortly after decided to give Shimmer a try. Slowly trying to catch up in the series. I got it ALLZ, but with WWE, Chikara and ROH... it's time consuming. Right now I'm about to finish volume 9.
ANYWAYS... I guess I'm new~!

Welcome to the board we do need more refs in the audience it seems. Id volunteer as security, but there's no way DP and Allison are going to trust me with a stungun and handcuffs with backstage access. Just aint happening.

I'd volunteer my services as a cameraman. I don't have a resume, but here is a pic of me in action ... I'm on the left Notice the camera is pointed right at Portia, as it remained for most of the match in question. I've never seen it, but I bet the footage is spectacular
