I think the next taping has the distinct possibility of being the best SHIMMER taping yet! It's certainly looking good so far.

More?!?! You're out of control, Dave! Geez, if there are bigger announcements than LuFisto.... maybe a Joshi legend?
Edit: Or a legend in general? Maybe Nora putting the boots back on? I can dream, right?

Well, if this is just one of the big announcements that 18 Hour drive up to see the show doesn't seem as long anymore. As for legends coming in, the one lady I'd like to see brought in for a show is Manami Toyota, I know it's a pipe dream, but it's mine damn it!

It would be great to see some kind of Japanese invasion, Ayako Hamada, Meiko Satomura, Mariko Yoshida and there's always Sumi Sakai, who I can't believe isn't part of the Shimmer setup.

I'm glad Sakai isn't in Shimmer. She does the same match every time. I laughed at the Women of Honor shoot DVD when she forgot how to do her own stupid camel clutch spot with the referee and kept holding Lacey's hair for 9 seconds before letting go. Her matches are so played out and predictable that she can't even do them right.

I agree, but I still think she is a good wrestler even though she does not win alot lately(check out Obsessed With Wrestling).I saw her in a match with April Hunter which I thought was pretty good-even though she lost. She also lost to MsChif in CF5.She can also do HardCore matches & Death matches and could probably wrestle Lufisto in those kind of matches(if you are into those).Actually she would be good for WWE-SmackDown!I think Sumi Sakai & Funaki would make a good pair for InterGender matches. And if her English isn`t that bad she can take the place of Kristal(who for me doesn`t even belong on a wrestling show even though she can speak English)as a locker room area interviewer.

got to admit I saw her screw up that spot against ODB in a different match but come on, predictable? I've seen her do many different forms of matches and out-perform many of the better girls on the Shimmer roster, also she's come up with some very creative ways of interacting with the crowd. Still, each to their own. A lot of people on the Talent thread didn't rate Mercedes Martinez, which boggles my mind.

Edit: Or a legend in general? Maybe Nora putting the boots back on? I can dream, right? Combined with this, you may be right. Considering that a lot of the younger women say that Nora was their inspiration for getting into wrestling, how about The Experience and Lisa against Ariel, Lorelei, and Nora?
