I loved how in Southern Hostility, instead of simply clapping everyone's hands and whatnot, she waited til she got them to legit cheer for her before moving to the next side. Now that's great babyfacing.

I'm not sure how you could not legit cheer for Serena. ROH fans will always find a way to not cheer for the women.

HAHAHA, I just watched the Southern Hostility DVD. Something pretty hilarious about a bunch of guys aggressively banging on the metal guard rails along with the tempo of "What a Feeling."

Speaking of Serena, where is she? She hasn't wrestled for OVW in calendar year 2009.

Here are some photos from the past week of Serena's trip to Europe, which included appearing on the ICWA Revolution V event in France. She's pictured alongside Joe E. Legend here. Wow Joe E Legend looks a bit fat and pale there!!! lol ...what's new?!

What is the idea behind the ROH logo adourned sheet metal that covers the guard rails, other than semi irritating crowd noise and a more painful sounding noise when wrestlers throw each other into them while outside the ring? It's almost as inexplicable as the "gunshot" sound effects used for punches and slaps in the Indiana Jones movies. Do they actually add protection to either the wrestlers or the crowd?

At a guess, it's so if a wrestler collides with the barrier with their body or head, it spreads the impact around instead of concentrating it onto one bar, which could cause more injury.
It's also good branding for the promotion. Everywhere you look during a match on a Ring of Honor DVD, there's the ROH logo.

I was at a couple of shows over here (not ROH) where instead of the barricades they had metal tables surrounding ringside and the sound of the fans pounding on those made a crowd of less than 100 seem like it was over a thousand. Just electric.
