When Shantelle signed her WWE deal, I didn't care at all. The only matches of her's that I had ever seen were from vol. 1 & 2 and there was nothing impressive about her. I figured the E just wanted her because of her pretty face and it was no big loss SHIMMER. Well, after watching her match with Melissa, my feelings have changed. I was rooting for Melissa going into this match, even though she was the heel I felt it would be a crime if she lost to the seemingly inferior Shantelle. However, Shantelle fought with an incredible passion and desire that I didn't know she had. The very noticeable height difference between the two helped further her underdog aura. And when she hit that handspring elbow, I was blown away because I had no idea she was capable of doing that. From that point on, I was totally behind Shantelle and begging her to win. So even though she lost, she became a star in my eyes. So now I'm actually quite disapponted that I won't be seeing her in a SHIMMER ring again anytime soon . However, I think she has both the look and the talent to become the next Trish Stratus (only shorter ;D), and if she does, that will be awesome. And besides, there's still volume 4!

The match was fine, but I think it could have stood to be 5 minutes shorter. 18 or so minutes was too long, especially since it really didn't pick up 'till 10 minutes in and nothing was really established in that time(And I can only see Melissa attempt the Vertibreaker so many damn times before I stop caring if she hits it or not). Both girls showed great ability, though, and it's easy to see why WWE would pick up on Shantelle - she seems very moldable while having the look they seem to love.

Shantelle's definitely an underrated worker, and stepping in the ring with girls like Melissa only emphasizes how effective she can be!

Shantelle is definitely underrated. I'm going to miss seeing her and Tiana beating the crap out of each other on BSE shows here.

I didnt know about Shantelle signing to WWE before watching the dvd. But I agree with brimoral, she has the look of a WWE diva. But do you think that WWE will let her showcase her wrestling? Doubt it.
To the WWE, The divas are T and A first and wrestlers second. But regardless, I wish nothing but the Best for Shantelle in her future at wwe!

I will miss her too. Before Vol. 3 came out, I was really looking forward to this match. I didn't let me down and Taylor looked like a star after the match.
