I think slp619420 was just SUPPOSING, and knows Shimmer can not afford to release a PS3 game. Hence him saying supposing. So anyone else who would like to blow this way out of proportion and create graphs and spend a couple of hours creating a post saying how impossible it is, just remember, its fun to pretend sometimes

As for who I played, I actually created Daizee in a (texture modded) copy of No Mercy on PJ64. She made John Cena tap to a headlock.

Hey now, my idea for an actual non-graphical shimmer game is actually very realistic and not impossible. I wasn't trying to make a graph and everything of how impossible it would be, I was making an example of a playable interface.
And even if you do think I am a blithering idiot: like the raven said "I don't give a hoot".

Aside from that, there is always a D&D like roll playing game that uses math chance of attack and defense. [...] Don't know if you've seen this, Wolf, but this game pretty much does everything you've described. It's a distant cousin of EWR, programmed by the same guy: Wrestling Spirit

Yeah, you can create a fairly decent SHIMMER leauge on Fire Pro Returns. Too bad it's not online playable though. I can only hope they put together one as PSN and XBL titles.

Old thread, but not too long ago, someone translated FirePro D into English. Now I could play the game just fine using the handy-dandy english guide posted online, but thought that was a cool idea nonetheless. Now I've been a fan of the Dreamcast game since '01, but hadn't played it in awhile. When I went to try it out I noticed a lot of the FireProD caw sites were broken. Does anybody have any CAWS for FireProD or know where to get them? FireProClub doesn't allow registrations (and hasn't for several years now) so that's out, sadly. I know that the PS2 game has a few more options for CAWs which is great, but I still like the DC game (I own both). For people who remember, Fire Pro Returns is the current PS2 favorite (I don't consider the recent Xbox game to be a true "Fire Pro" game), but there are some differences between the two. Fire Pro D had a "victory road" mode, and a 1 on 1 electrified exploding barbed wire cage mode. It also had an octagon mma mode ("gruesome fighting") as opposed to the 12 sided ring in FPR. Finally the "landmine" match from FPR was included but sans the mines (so you could toss wrestlers into the barbed wire outside). The sound effects in the game sounded a bit stronger too (hard to explain). The more recent WWE games are of course very different, but it seems the customization is getting better to the point where you can start to re-create a Shimmer experience in the game. I'd love to see a re-creation of the Eagles Club modeled in a game some day.

Try here for the firepro game, if that's not it they should be able to point you in the right direction caws.ws/forum/forum/156-fire-pro-returns/And regarding the most recent wwe game, this is an example from the talented mrblacksheep, it's a clip of Mia Yim vs Evie at the Eagles Club I play it on the ps3, blacksheep kindly puts his formulas on youtube so although he plays on xbox360, I can recreate his work in my game, plus there are a good few indy women wrestling fans on the ps3 side too.

Thanks I'll take a look. Seems many people forgot FireProD when Returns came out, which is a shame as it is still a solid game with good features.
Can you download any of those or do you have to do it all via formulas? I know how, it would just save time if there were more than a few... (seems most of the caws I found were for wwe13).

For the xbox 360 I believe you can download all of mrblacksheep's creations and I'm sure other people have made similar ones. Anyway here are youtube vids of the ones mrblacksheep has made www.youtube.com/user/itsmrblacksheeptoyou/videosAnd all I really know about is the playstation side of things, with the ps4 coming out a few months ago there doesn't seem to be as many indy female wrestlers as usual made, I believe that a lot upgraded systems and just didn't go back to their ps3s, but still you could get a pretty accurate shimmer or shine roster, all you have to do is go to the online part of the game, then community creations and search by name for the wrestler you want, or you can use a keyword. There are some you'd have to make yourself, like Nicole Matthews (that's where the likes of mrblacksheeps vids come in handy). And other stars like Melanie Cruise you'd have to create from scratch. But it's easy enough to get the hang of, and there are loads in the caw making community who will help with suggestions. There will be a new game coming out in october or november, but nothing is known about the create-a-wrestler part of it or even if there will be one.

And it's going to be on the 360 too, not just the nextgens, so that's nice. One of the reasons I got SVR2006 back in the day because it had so many good female caws (and I made some of my own since then). I heard you have to pay a monthly fee for 360 online service (on top of your regular ISP subscription) which bites (then there's the question of how long they'll continue to support it in the face of the Xbox One. Anyway, so there's something to do in both 2D and 3D. It's just the FireProD side that's hurting atm...
