With the full roster of 18 competitors now announced, the next step will be announcing match pairings for SHIMMER Volume 1, to be filmed on 11/6 in Berwyn, IL. We will also be filming SHIMMER Volume 2, with the matches to be determined after Volume 1 has been complete. Fans there live will see each wrestler compete in two matches (one match per DVD). Look for matches to be announced later this week.
What match possibilities do you look forward to most in SHIMMER now that the entire roster is known?

Okay the two matches that HAVE TO HAPPEN are Cheerleader Melissa vs Beth Pheonix and Mercedes Martinez vs Sara Del Rey. I mean Melissa and Beth are the two best mat wrestlers in shimmer and they would just be able to put on a fantastic mat based match. Mercedes vs Sara has to happen. The two are similar in height, body size, and wrestling skill. Can Mercedes hit the fisherman buster on Sara? Can Sara hit the overhead butterfly suplex on Mercedes? Who has a wider variety of suplexes? Which is the better of the two? These questions must be answered and the only way they can be answered is if the two face of against each other.  |

those 2 matches would be great, but there should be a tag team match with Krissy Vane & Amber o neal vs two random individuals, my suggestion Allison Danger & Cindy Rogers, because Alicia, cindy's tag team partner ain't part of shimmer, allison would do just as good after i saw Allison and Cindy in tag team action in world 1 vs Alere Little Feather & Sumie Sakai, they did a great job in that match.

^That's a good idea for a match. Allison and Cindy were great as a team and their heel antics were very amusing in that match. Another match that I could see happening is Lexi Fyfe vs Christie Ricci.

There are so many possibilities for interesting match ups.

Lacey vs. Haze - I've seen it plenty of times but as a main event this match can help ensure that this show is a success. These two are great together and who doesn't want to see these two clash again.
Danger vs. Lacey - I really liked Danger at Volcano Girls and apparently she's getting better so pairing her off against Lacey would be a good way to really let her showcase her development.
Mercedes Martinez vs. Haze - I don't remember seeing these two face off one on one and they had some nice interaction in the 3 way main event on Volcano Girls.
Other than that I don't really know a whole lot of the women in the promotion and can't list a ton of dream matches for this weekend. I'd like to see Lacey and Rain team up but Lacey is such a great singles wrestler.

I thought of another set of matches that I would like to see, Ariel vs Nikki Roxx and Nikki Roxx (PGWA champ) vs Christie Ricci (NWA women's champ).

With so many great wrestlers in attendance there's a bunch more...
