Good God, did they use a meat cleaver or something? At least when Beefcake did it you didn't end up juicing your brains out Results of a cut during the Ladder Match.

Russo hasn't been booking the women. Scott D'Amore does and Jarrett approves everything. As usual, Russo is a convenient but misguided scapegoat. Whether it's Russo or not, the fact that live fans don't boo the heels but the booking team says a bit about your company. It also says something that fans think, "This is so idiotic, Vince Russo must have been responsible for it." Either way, I'd like to see a company like SHIMMER do a Hair vs Hair match proper. If you take a match like this, and 4 needless stipulations, 5 extra wrestlers, add build it up based on a dated pop culture joke you can't blame the fans for not taking it seriously and caring like they should.

I was just about to make this point. Honestly, I would be less bothered if it was Angelina vs Roxxi ending up a huge feud that had that brewed on for several months and this was the conclusion. I get Lucha Libre on my television so I'm used to those matches meaning something instead of just being thrown out there. And I'm pretty sure it's not for charity cause they couldn't use Molly's hair since it touched the floor and Nikki's touch the floor some her hair can't be used.

It makes me think the fans only booed because it's always filled with the same idiots every set of tapings, the kind of idiots who chant "You still got it" to Scott Hall just for picking up a microphone, idiots who think they know the business and all the backstage dealings and they want to brag to the whole world about how smart they are. Are people pissed just because one of their favorites lost her hair? Nikki's shaving was just a way to add heat to the feud between her and Angel & Velvet. Horrible things need to happen to characters so they can pick themselves up, fight back, and become stronger. It's a really common plot structure. And I'm pretty sure it's not for charity cause they couldn't use Molly's hair since it touched the floor and Nikki's touch the floor some her hair can't be used. Not to mention Nikki's hair was all purple. What charity would take purple hair?

The PPV wasn't at the "Impact Zone." And if only idiots go to watch TNA live, what does that say? They're supposed to be pissed, just not at the TNA bookers. The bookers chose to build this thing up as a ridiculious, over booked joke. At the last second they did something that made some sense in as far as advancing a storyline, but it was too late. As someone pointed out, if this happened in a focus Roxx vs Angle & Love feud, without 10 other people, a title shot, a ladder, immunity, and all that other crap thrown in then you could get away with attacking the fans. But, no, it was 1 of 5 gimmicks and sold as a "Britney Spears Makeover." LOL, Britney Spears, she was bald...a year and a half ago. Way to keep relevant TNA.

The PPV wasn't at the "Impact Zone." And if only idiots go to watch TNA live, what does that say? It actually was at the Impact Zone. You can tell by the two ramp setup. Every fanbase has idiots, its just that these idiots blew hundreds of dollars on season passes to Universal Studios just to watch TNA live every two weeks. Calling it a Britney Spears Makeover, yes, very stupid. As to the match itself, was it really that complicated? A battle royal, with the final two having a ladder match. The Immunity idea shouldn't be foreign to the average person, who has probably seen an episode of Survivor. It served as a reason as to why Angelina would have an interest in who would win the match between Nikki & Gail (which was pretty sweet). The shaving just threw a gallon of gasoline onto the fire between Roxxi and Love/Sky and this story is nowhere near finished.

No, wait: it's not. Call it double standards or whatever but I just hate seeing women bleed. I recently watched the Lita/Ivory Survivor Series match again where Lita gets hardwayed over the eye and juices absolute buckets, still horrible to watch and freaks me out a little if I'm honest.

1) You yourself said Gail is the most recognizable name. Well how is anyone else supposed to become recognizable if Gail continues to hog all the opportunities. Since the title was founded she has had more opportunities then anyone else.
2) We remember what happened to the X-Division after the built it around Joe/Daniels/Styles. It to this day is still trying to recover from that. And if they keep building it around Gail vs Kong same #@^%$# will happen. The very same division she worked so hard to create she is killing because she won't telling booking to keep her out of the spotlight for awhile so other can get a chance. The division is still new enough that all the girls need a chance.
3) How is Nikki getting built up? What can she do to them that is any worse then what they already did to her. Rape them? Take there virginity? I doubt either of them even know how to spell virgin. But that's besides the point. They already humiliated and punked her not much she worse she can do to them.
Points I made on another forum.

This could be the beginning of a feud between Nikki & Velvet Sky/Angelina which it could be good depends of how you manage the situation.
Nikki proves that she can do almost anything in order to success or have a push in TNA or wherever doing this. What I wonder is,if Velvet Sky or Angelina Love could do the same? If I were Nikki,I would not stop until I get revenge and the only revenge I could seek is shave the head of Velvet or Angelina or both

Calling it a Britney Spears Makeover, yes, very stupid. And set the tone for the entire thing. Not the fault of the fans. YES. It had 5 stipulations. 5. It was a hair vs hair match, and a battle royal match, and a ladder match, and a #1 contenders match, and had this immunity thing tossed in. Yes, people who watch survivor (or know English) know what "Immunity" is. Just because people know what something is that doesn't mean you toss it into a match. It's not about confusing the fans, it's about not creating an absurd clusterf*** that no one can take seriously. That's why the fans chant dumb stuff, because TNA has never attempted to make them take this, or anything else, seriously. Um...that's the problem. The head shaving should be near or THE definitive end to a feud, not in the beginning. If they were going to have this match they should have been able to sell it as just Roxx vs Love or Sky and just a Hair vs Hair match.

That doesn't leave much. Simply because 1) The importance of it would be gone. for example in Mexico I know this isn't Mexico but still to lose a hair vs hair or a mask vs mask or a mask vs hair match you get paid an extra 10,000 dollars. That should show just how important the match is. And the saddest part is very few people still even care about the beautiful people Nikki got over and the booking got more heat and those two are really being forgotten in the general gist of things.

Plus we know if Nikki does return, I think her pop will be epic. "Finally, the Roxx has come back to Berwyn", yes epic. I saw the pics, the one thing that bothers me is that I don't think they needed to gouge the hell out of her head when shaving her, maybe could have hired a real barber.

That's why the fans chant dumb stuff, because TNA has never attempted to make them take this, or anything else, seriously. Maybe it's just that I wasn't around for the Territory Days when wrestling was all serious business with no bells and whistles, but I'm looking at the ends, a nifty ladder match between two hard-working women I respect and like and plot advancement and definite push for Nikki, and they satisfy me enough for me to forgive the means, especially when I can wrap my head around what D'Amore, Russo, or whoever were trying to accomplish so easily. And just so you don't think I'm drinking the TNA Kool-Aid, the King of The Mountain match's rules are ridiculously complicated, and the circumstances surrounding the vacating (vacation?) of the Tag Titles were preposterous. This is the beginning of the end of this feud, which started weeks ago with the lipstick attack. Instead of the classic Lucha de Apuesta, this feud looks like it's based on the movie "Carrie," with head shaving replacing the bucket of blood. Now it's time for Roxxi to unleash some crazy voodoo rage on Angelina and Velvet.

I honestly didn't know they were feuding. Yeah, I remember that but then it was like forgotten cause they started mocking ODB and Gail.

Do you think that either Velvet Sky or Angelina Love would have their head shaved in order to recieve a push or to demostrate that they are really good wrestlers and not just eye-candy?
Shave you head does not make you a great wrestler but it speaks well about you.
