Greg and I drove past the Olympic Theatre on Sunday. Doesn't look like much in the way of parking next to the place, but I'm sure it'll be fine to park on side streets. Got pretty excited seeing the place beforehand.

Says something that back in the day, the show discussion thread used to have many pages. Twitter and Facebook, especially the SHIMMER FB group, shows that discussion is far more spread out these days.
Good weekend, with much of the focus understandably on Tomoka Nakagawa and her retirement, which was a happy moment as she got to go out with all her friends and lots of drink. I love the Kimber Bombs as the new tag champs, though the division is a bit thin considering the best other team in it is Team Slap Happy, and KBs already beat them. October should really prioritise beefing up the division. Nicole Matthews is doing well as a champion who'll do whatever to keep hold of the title, though those who thought Eagles was a controversy, it was more unfortunate, and good ring placement by Matthews to know where the ropes were. Again, don't know who'll step up to face her next? Maybe a three way with Eagles and Havok?
The eight Joshi tag (and yes I'll class Tank as honorary Joshi) was goddamn FANTASTIC. If I wasn't there, I'd be peeved I'd have to wait so long to see it. Aja Kong was Aja Kong (no more really needs to be said), and Dynamite Kansai was friggin' STIFF. Nicole Savoy is getting even better, I love Evie and Heidi Lovelace as a team, and Courtney Rush as a heel will take some getting used to.
Special mention to a couple other great matches - the 2/3 Falls Athena/Mia Yim match, and Eagles/Ohka.

Most with new music at 71 reverted back to old themes in Berwyn. The two I noticed were new were...
Allysin Kay: Coolio ft. LV - Gangsta's Paradise Courtney Rush: Nickelback - Edge Of A Revolution

Yeah, no Rhia, Nikki, probably Leva and Stephie as well. Think Candice LeRae is only appearing on Sunday. Tessa Blanchard is definitely debuting and is on both days. Looks like Yumi Ohka will be one of the Joshi as well.

Last minute changes to the card - Shazza McKenzie will now face Miss Rachel, and with all due respect to Shazza, Evie gets a match I'm even more excited for, as she now wrestles Tessa Blanchard.

It's the Olympic Theatre in Cicero - the home of Slippin' Jimmy McGill. It's less than a mile from the Berwyn Eagles Club. Will be strange, but fun to be somewhere else for SHIMMER for a change.

We can remove Courtney Rush from the list, she's wrestling in Canada next weekend. Same goes for Saraya Knight and Madison Eagles (England and Australia respectively). I'm predicting LuFisto gets the final spot.

Portia Perez and Evie both added to the tournament. One spot left, who's it going to be?

Mia Yim has accepted Santana Garrett's challenge, so the main event of SHINE 26 on April 3rd will be Mia Yim defending her SHINE Title against Santana Garrett, who defends her NWA World Women's Title - so one woman will walk out with two titles!

If TNA legit signed her I'd be happy, but also very surprised. They like giving contacts to their precious "name recognition" washouts, everyone else gets PPA deals. Also, no Rhia for international SHINE or the Slammin Ladies roster. Boo! Rhia's getting ready to run the London Marathon at the end of April, so a US tour around this time isn't really ideal.
