The next show is at the end of April? Six months from the last taping? I'm sorry, but that's just depressing. I sincerely hope there are four or more tapings between now and next winter because the girls aren't getting any younger. We announced after our last taping that we will take the winter off every year, and tape when the weather will cooperate with 20 flights into Chicago (spring through fall). In 2007 we filmed 6 DVDs in the span of 3 months during the spring/summer. We can only run as often as we can financially afford to. If you have investors which will enable us to run every month without financial worries, please, let me know!

the girls aren't getting any younger. (Insert joke about Portia Perez looking young. Sorry, it's late. I'm sure you can come up with something on your own.)

Snakeyes and Fresh arent the same person? :-O
The problems we have had at the Rodeway Inn (both in June and October) were: 1. Lose of power (no weather in the area) including TV & Internet after the lights came back on. 2. Philly had a leaking bathroom no one cared about. 3. In October, no heat on, the room got to about 100 degrees without a window to open. 4. Internet connection is so unstable that you can spend 30 minutes connecting and reconnecting to get a page to load. Horrible if you are say an internet writer or are looking for a club to go to. 5. Hotel is a $40 cab ride from airport, $60 if you get a driver who cannot follow the exact directions you give him on how to get there. 6. No working phone in my suite. 7. No remote. 8. Room (the suite mind you) looked like it was unfinished (stayed in the same room both times) and on the second time looked like it was storage for all the borken desks and tables in the hotel (we had 3 desks and 2 dressers the second time, first time no desks or anything).
I am sure I am missing more because it was dreadful last time. This is based on my opinions though so if you had a good time there don't think I am leading a boycott of the place. I am just moving on lol.

There's a Hampton Inn in Westchester that worked out really well for me on the tourney weekend. About 5-6 miles down 22nd from Berwyn and the Eagles Club, a Dominicks less than a mile away, a Panera Bread and a few other restaurants and retail within walking distance, quiet surroundings, close to a lot of good things in Oak Brook and environs even though 22nd gets hella congested, quality hotel, good staff, really good breakfast buffet and free wifi, comfy beds. It's in the $80-100 range... split amongst three or four, it's not that much more. Hilton's website has it for $85 if you're checking in on 4/26 and leaving the next night.
I'm not trying to hate on the Rodeway, but I think of the festering rat's nest they have in Philly every time I hear that name. Plus, I guess I'm something of a hotel snob.

Dave, I don't have a bank account or a credit/debit card to go through Paypal anymore. Could I snail mail payment for 1 GA ticket to you?

Snakeyes and Fresh arent the same person? :-O I don't get it. I always thought you 2 were the same person just with different forum account names for different forums. Unless I met you both at the same time and in my horrible attempt to listen I thought the same person said both screen names. Fresh is from Washington right? Did I meet you (Snakeyes) at the shimmer taping in June as well?

I'll be there front row. Now I've got to prepare.
1. Get 8x10s developed from last taping for autographs. 2. Sitting front row this time, get a decent haircuit. 3. Plan to actually attend the post-show party.

I'm planning on flying in from Prince Edward Island, Canada, but it looks like I'm going to miss this show because I don't even have a passport in order yet, and I want to get myself a hold of a front row ticket when I do come and guarantee that I'll be able to go, which will hopefully be the next set of tapings. That said, any general musings on a month that you're tossing around in your head for the next tapings, Mr. Prazak?
And also, what are the prime options for transportation from the airport to Berwyn? Is a taxi out of the question? And what is the consensus on what the best hotel (taking into account distance from the hotel to the Eagles Club/Michael Anthony's and price) would be to stay at? And also, is this after-party people speak of actually a reality and is it open to all interested fans, and if so, what is such an after-party like?
