I dont remember where it was posted but someone was crapping on Danyah for the sole reason that she smiled all thru her match. Huh? 1) she's a face, 2) she's happy. What's the deal? That's like crapping all over Lacey for scowling all thru her matches. It fits their characters. Yes, there are some wrestlers I don't care for (namely Josie.....hmm... well I guess that's the only one really. I guess that's why my hands hurt on Sunday was from cheering everyone that came to the ring for 7 hours, but anyway....) but at least give the ladies a shot out there. Not everyone has a great A+ match right out the gate. Danyah came out there all full of piss and vinegar amd smiliing and bouncing all over the place. People crap on that. IF she came out there not caring, moving lethargically and frowning, she'd have gotten crapped on for that as well. PEOPLE, IT WAS A GREAT SHOW!!!

Very pleased to hear that Alexa Thatcher was booked but was unfortunately unable to appear owing to personal matters. I'm sure everyone wishes her well whatever the reason for her absence.
Having seen a number of her matches since her last Shimmer appearance she is improving each time with a new set of moves adding to her ability to sell her opponent's work and the athletic ability to take bumps convincingly which has always been evident. The elevation on her drop kicks and other moves bodes well for a move up the card next time. Can't wait for her return in July !!

Being a smiling face is no big deal, that's expected. What's not expected is keeping that same dumb ass grin on your face while you and your partner are getting pummeled into slime. That's my gripe. People used to get crippled for that kind of disrespect for their opponents.

I agree with MG in that regard. She's lucky someone didn't start shooting on her for not selling.

Some other thoughts. Has the ring always sort of sunk in the middle? The IHWC had trouble keeping their waterbottles in the corner, as it would row into the ring. This lead to a Daizee Haze dropkick into the bottle, as well as an (unintentional?) faceplant into a bottle. Yep, and you will typically see this at indy shows. Now I can't claim to know why but I suspect it is because the ring is being used as long as safely possible and/or because promotions want a ring that gives more.

Maybe she was just nervous. It's her first Shimmer show. Mr. Prazak mentioned she had been trying to get here for a while, maybe it was a tad much for her. Give her a little time. If, at the next show, she's still all perky and "yay, my partner is getting killed" then maybe she deserves the criticism but at least give her a shot is all i'm saying.
